By far the best villian we've had.
There was actually a reason to give a damn about the villian other than the guy the good guys is supposed to beat. Killmonger and Hela have definitely been a step for Marvel's villian.

Looking forward to this movie loved BP in Civil war and thought the previews for this looked good. I thought it would do well but I was not expecting this. The reception for this movie is just amazing. The movie has the highest RT score ever for a CBM and now it sounds like the movie should make around 185 million 3 day OW and 210 with the 4 day holiday. I am plaining on seeing this on Sunday sure hope it can live up to the hype.Comment

That was awesome. I think it's probably the best and fully realized movie from Marvel to date. All the characters had clear motivations for their actions. This certainly helped set up the dynamics of the narrative and gave Killmonger a conflicted and grayish tint rather than being a clear-cut, 100% evil villain like has been predominantly present in the Marvel universe. I understood and could connect with Killmonger's motivations and made me feel conflicted at times as far as seeing him as a cardboard villain.
A fantastic film and a great, vibrant universe they've established.
