I can guarantee that Phantom Menace is THE LAST movie that was on my mind watching Black Panther.

        Honestly, it's hilarious.

        Spoiler

There may be more. It's not a bad thing, just funny. The thing that killed the Phantom Menace is the thing that made this movie work to the extent that it did, the writing.

Man, you can probably do this with several movies.

Feel like he wanted a super hero movie as opposed to a legit good movie. Not a slight on him.

I think there were other reasons for it, but I’m afraid it’s against TOS to discuss it.

I’m not even a comics fan really, but I watch the Marvel movies because my girlfriend likes them...this was just a flat out awesome movie. Michael B was just so, so good.

                  Re: Black Panther (2018)

Loved it, probably my top 3 or 4 MCU movies. My favorite parts weren’t even about Black Panther or the action, it was the culture and traditions of Wakanda and how they touched different tribes in Africa.

I was getting hyped during those challenges!

Danai Gurira (Michonne from Walking Dead) was bad ***. Hopefully she makes an appearance in Infinity War.

Winston Duke as Umbaku was awesome, loved his lines at the end.

Angela Bassett should have been Storm from the start. When you see her in those white dreads we totally missed out on the perfect Storm.

Some of the gripes I had were the fight scenes with Black Panther. It was way better in Civil War and I was disappointed with it, especially in his own movie. I didn’t like how it was shot which was surprising as Cooglar shot Creed fantastic.

Soundtrack was great too, love the mix of hip hop and orchestra. Anyway overall, enjoyed it and looking forward to seeing it again.

I really want a scene in Avengers where Shuri humbles Stark.

Because she’s a great character, and I think it would be entertaining to watch her fluster Tony when she’s able to match his wits.

Shuri might be the smartest character in the Marvel universe, so that would be fun.

Just have Tony and Banner going back and forth with some long, confusing science discussion, and then Shuri walks in like "Well, actually..."

Movie was really good. I actually think that it's a better "movie" than hero flick. My 8 year old son wasn't wowed by it the same way he was with Civil War, he did laugh a lot, so they hit the target there. I think it was the action sequences. He spazzed out when Ant Man grew into a giant during the airport fight scene...I thought Panther hit the perfect cord with the social and political commentary without it being too preachy and deviating from the fact that it was a superhero movie.

*I thought catching a 12:30 showing on a Tuesday would allow us to watch alone; it was like 80% full.

Maybe a dumb question but is the "Panther Habit" in the movie and if so how many of these suits have been made?

EDIT: After further research I can't imagine it not being in the movie. It would probably be like Iron Man without his armor.

I have to catch this flick sometime in the next few days.
