I don't know how low they got but in the 65-66 TV season Batman (Thursday) was ranked #5 and Batman (Wednesday) was ranked #10. The next two seasons they fell out of the Top 30. Nielsen Media Research

Loved Batman every morning at 6am.

I grew up watching the reruns in the mid and late 70's.

I have the complete series on Blue Ray when they released that box set a few years back with the die cast Batmobile as well.

He was great. Will always cherish that show.

Just cheesy goodness. Own that complete series as well.

        Freaking love it.

He was also in a very poignant episode of Batman: TAS as Gray Ghost.

Very sad news. I remember fondly watching Batman reruns at a very young age in the 80s. My Dad hated that show. He was a kid when it came out and he didn't like the campiness. I loved it because that's the only Batman I had a few years before '89 Batman and then the animated series coming out. I loved the "movie" and have it on dvd today, though my wife hates it like my Dad did haha. And what's better than Adam West on Family Guy? Nothing. RIP, Mr. West.

Damn, Adam West was getting into the whole superhero porn scene 50 years before it happened

The Batman show of the 1960's, in my mind, is very comparable to professional wrestling. You're either in on the joke/work, or you think it's completely ridiculous.
