Re: RIP Batman (Adam West)
Loved Batman every morning at 6am.
I grew up watching the reruns in the mid and late 70's.
I have the complete series on Blue Ray when they released that box set a few years back with the die cast Batmobile as well.
He was great. Will always cherish that show.

RIP Batman (Adam West)
That happens to many actors unfortunately. They get stuck with the label of their first major character and people only see them as that which makes it harder to ever get roles elsewhere.
I'm sure if people look back to their fave shows all time, they'll find main characters who did very little after that show despite it being so big.
Lee Majors The Six Million Dollar Man
Just cheesy goodness. Own that complete series as well.
Freaking love it.

He was also in a very poignant episode of Batman: TAS as Gray Ghost.

Re: RIP Batman (Adam West)
Very sad news. I remember fondly watching Batman reruns at a very young age in the 80s. My Dad hated that show. He was a kid when it came out and he didn't like the campiness. I loved it because that's the only Batman I had a few years before '89 Batman and then the animated series coming out. I loved the "movie" and have it on dvd today, though my wife hates it like my Dad did haha. And what's better than Adam West on Family Guy? Nothing. RIP, Mr. West. These days I'm less like "Jailhouse Rock" Elvis and more like "dying alone on the toilet" Elvis.Comment
