Big Brother 19

Season premieres Wednesday June 28th at 8pm. It'll be the typical Sunday,Wednesday,Thursday schedule again.

Cast was announced today so you can go check out their bios. Just from cast photos, some you can tell are typical BB picks, as some actually resemble past HGs(but aren't related).

Though I do these every season, last season of BB made me completely rethink my pre-game assessments. I hated Paul in episode 1, but by end of season he was one of my faves who I hope does return(and even though I wanted Nicole to win the most on day 1 and am glad she did,I wasn't as happy as I thought I'd be when she won vs Paul)

Christmas- Fitness person whose fave HG is Helen, who seems like she could have intimidating personality

Matthew- Seems like he won't be one of those drama filled/crazy HGs, but also could just end up similar to Corey from last year. Someone I thought would be good but wasn't overly interesting minus the BB editing jokes on him.

Dominique- Seems smart, but the first thing she mentioned wanting to bring into the BB house is the bible, that just screams BB casting stereotype.

Elena- Probably the party person of the season who'll be the one drinking the most

Jason- The cowboy. Cowboy stereotypes on CBS shows are typically good though so hope he ends up the same.

Jessica- She just screams showmance in the house. Natalie from last season all over again probably.

Cameron- The smart guy, though he's not the superfan stereotype since he only started watching a few years back. Ironically though, he lists Ian as his fave HG.

Mark-Similar to Matthew, I think he'll stay drama free for most part, but could just end up being boring.

Megan-Might be one of the bigger talkers in the house, maybe similar to Christmas.

Josh-Instantly screams the villain of the season. Probably ends up an early boot because of rubbing people the wrong way.

Cody-Could be a good all around player,his "fun facts" I like. Could be one of the people to go far.

Alex-One of the people who I don't think I'll like and probably an early boot.

Jillian-Might be one of the better females in the house, but based on BB history, that likely means she'll be out early since others don't like her.

Kevin-The oldest HG of the season, hopefully he does play a good game. Don't know how he'll connect with rest of house, but I hope he goes far.

Ramses-The big superfan/nerd of the season. Though he sounds like he could be a good player.

Raven-Part of me thinks she'll end up like Bridgette last season. Also, I hope she does things often in the house that'll make people be like "That's So Raven" lol.

People I think I'll like: Matthew,Jason,Cody,Jillian,Kevin,Ramses
People I think I'll hate: Elena,Alex
My F2 Pick: Ramses,Kevin

Of the entire cast,most yet again list a very recent HG as their fave,hopefully that's not a bad thing.

I still find the BB USA casting in terms of females to be weak. BB Canada has done great job at that. Since BB Canada has started, I think they've had more great female HGs than USA in the same timespan. Is it so hard to cast females who want to play BB and will be great strategists, or comp beasts, and just regular people who aren't paranoid,crazy,wanting a showmance or anything like that.

Updated the title, but I am very excited for this season. Will be my first full season with the live feeds.

To get ready, my wife and I have been watching season 10. Such a difference compared to current BB seasons, where people were willing to take risks.

Lol, did I actually put the wrong number.

To me, bb has had diff eras.
BB1 is diff on its own
2-7 is next era
8-14 as another era
15-present the current

Current era obviously not as good as past, casting and twists have hurt it big time.

I just hope they don't give us too much power. I felt last year, everyone was trying to play to America to get a care package, instead of playing the game. Save the America stuff for OTT.

That's because of the people they cast. Most people they cast want to use BB to launch whatever career they have. Or find love. Gain social media followers. All while not coming off in a negative light to the public. Though what BB15 showed is that nothing matters. As bad as that cast was an controversy they stirred up, while people did get fired and stuff, seemed like there were others lining up to hire them.

If they could just have a season with people who came to play Big Brother, then it'd be fine. But they want to make BB almost like some E Network reality show than the type of show BB had been for the majority of its first dozen or so years on TV.

Kevin aged real quick from his stint on BB Canada lol. Last year I picked Corey and he made it pretty far, but didn't quite win. I'm going to avoid the obvious pick imo and not go with Cameron. I'll take Cody as my pre-season winner and hope he's at least entertaining. I don't think that there is any way that Kevin or Jillian can win. My dark horse pick is Ramses.

Lol, Jessica is Natalie in more ways than one..... She's got the male vote covered before even entering the house.

Nice premiere. Paul is back! He's now my hope to win this season though I doubt he does. Lol, Kevin does seem like a superheros arch nemesis whose plan always gets foiled at the end of the episode. Even though he's against Paul, I hope Cody aligns with him. Like him more from this episode than just his bio. He actually reminds me a bit of the actor who plays Ray on Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow.


That vote was old school BB. Editing the voting so we don't know who voted for who, so we're as surprised as HGs on vote reveal. Would be nice having that every now and then.

Christmas looks like a buff Alexandra Breckenridge and Jessica looks like she could be Ariana Grande's taller sister. If Busy Philipps and Kailyn from Teen Mom 2 had a baby it would look like Elena.

It seems like that have them same cookie cutter cast as in the past, but there's always a few people that surprise me. Hopefully, we have a fun season ahead of us with the Den of Temptation Twist. I would have taken the $25k too, by the way.

Exactly. Why are people so upset at that? They're acting like nobody would ever do that and are shocked that there's a twist on BB. I wouldn't even think twice about that, especially being anonymous.

I actually thought the twist would be that it you took the money, you self evict.
