    Re: Big Brother 19

Paul was better last year than this year. To be fair though, it's not his fault the season is the way it is right now. BB seems like they just cast a few main people they want to focus on and the rest are fillers to compliment them on TV/Make for good DRs.

This season is almost like how last season started for Paul. Him trying to form a big group and be the leader of it. Except this time, the groups goal isn't to take out vets, it's to do what the vet wants.

The fact that Jess actually thinks Paul will keep his word about getting Alex out blows my mind. How, after everything that's happened in the house, could she possibly trust any of them? lol

On a side note, doesn't it make more sense to vote Jess out this week rather than Cody? If they get her to not use the hex, they can vote her out, thereby removing the hex from the game and making Cody vulnerable. Not to mention that Jess is a good competitor in her own right and would probably stand a much better chance of winning the game than Cody would.

I know they all simply don't like Cody, but this seems like a prime opportunity to get Jess out of the house if they can play her the right way.

Edit: This theory is based on the fact that I think she has to play the hex BEFORE the vote, right?

It'd have to be before the vote. Like when Julie tells the first person to head to the DR to vote, Jess would stand up and reveal the hex.

Based on how yesterdays episode ended, I think she is using it today. Why else would you end the episode with no veto ceremony despite the decision being so clear? Just a way to waste a few minutes today that would've been the time used on the vote. And probably a quick HOH comp this week that gets shown start to finish today since I'm sure next week is a double eviction.

I guess Jess doesn't remember when she was arguing with Christmas after the first eviction? That doesn't seem like a way to act in "real life" either.

Just read what happened in the house on Monday(after veto ceremony) and it's just pathetic how these HGs act. Getting into a heated argument in the moment is one thing, but actually creating a long thoughtout plan on how to bully someone and giving each person an individual role in this...that's beyond just bullying.

One of rare times I want BB to step in. Re-introduce Pandoras box, bring back couples twist, let Jess-Cody win comps to save themselves and just make F4 like that. The other HGs really don't deserve much. Jess-Cody haven't been perfect either, but how do you not side with the victims who are being strategically bullied by a group of people on camera.

                Totally disagree.
Its BB not real lift its not bullying to me at all.
You know going in there is going to be arguments and people are not going to get along.
Its a mind game/strategy and again it worked!

You need to separate it from thinking about real life bullying.

Again I would agree to disagree with you.
To me its BB, and they are playing for $500,000.00.
Its not the real world in that house, people lie about everything.
They lie about what the do for a living and who they are all the time.
What they did was simply lying or saying that Cody was lying.
No difference to me at all.

I'll put it this way in regards to Monday, I felt extremely uncomfortable and just thought it was embarrassing.

I was thinking about this and thought that if Jess was going to make a deal with Paul to not use the hex, she should have forced him to use the POV on her to ensure she was safe and dictated that she is replaced by Alex. This would guarantee that either Cody goes home as planned or Paul loses Alex.

I go back and forth on Josh. I think he is a mess and should have never been put on this show.

But I also remember seeing some pretty heavy duty bullying off him by Jess and Cody that really broke him down. It was all the more cruel because they knew he was weak emotionally and attacked him in away to exploit that the most.

And the fact is, they were pissed at a lot of people after Gillian went out and the house protected Xmas. But they tee'd off on Josh because he was easy pickings. You didn't see them going after Jason or others. While Cody's blindside of the house where he tried to nominate Paul, and then nominated Xmas put him in a bad decision, it was their treatment of Josh that pretty sealed their fate in the house.

But, man, he does just seem to ask for it. If there is anyone in the house that can dish it out but not take it, it is Josh. But that house is really messing with his head, and he is not getting good support from the folks on his side of the house. He needs their support, and they are egging him on to to screw with Cody and Jess instead of getting him lie low.

I may be the only one but I kind of like Josh.

He's too emotional and a total wildcard but they will get to a point where he will be tough to get out. If I were in the BB House I would hate his shenanigans however he would be perfect to sit against in the Final 2.

The episode obviously heavily edited. Making it seem like only Josh was tormenting them. At least they did show the despicable actions of the HGs. A full on gang up bullying attack on Jess and Cody. At least they did show Matt say he didn't like it because he actually was trying to get them to not go through with the bullying plan.

But for those wanting to know how much was edited.... They cut out Cody and Jess just making out during Josh's song. After Ravens chat with Jess, Paul told her to start crying and blame it on Jess. Paul wanted to have Alex and Christmas fake getting mad at each other over the agreement on getting Alex out if the hex wasn't used. The whole trying to intentionally provoke Cody into hitting someone to get expelled and if that failed, trying to get him to self evict. And calling him out for being a fraud and pretending to be in military and basically disrespecting his country by faking that(apparently Cody actually got awarded several medals during his time in military).

But of course, BB gives a fairly clean edit to the majority groupies. Sure, Cody lied to Jess about his conversation to Matt, but since when does BB show flashback clips during conversations? And showing it multiple times too..... I don't see them doing that against anyone else. You could do it for literally every Hg ever who has ever lied. But they pick and choose to portray him as the villain.

Now Josh is the hoh..... Unbearable week coming up. Of all people to win during the Jody breakup week, it had to be Josh! Hopefully a miracle happens and one of Cody or Jess wins temptation comp, one wins veto, and both stay safe.
