        Re: Lion King

Some peoples criticism of the remake makes no sense. Some actually think the new movie will be like the Broadway shows with costumes.

I'm sure the movie is basically gonna be just like the jungle book in terms of animals. We're not actually gonna have Beyoncé in a lion costume.......

Is it gonna be full on remake, or might they actually change up some parts of the movie? Imagine if they do something like have the mufasa dying stuff happen at the end.

The king dying is the end of the first act. The following events and narrative derive from that.

Yeah, you literally can’t have him die at the end.

The Lion King is probably my all time favorite Disney film ever.

So yeah I am going to see this. And the trailer looked pretty bad ***.

I admit I was a bit skeptical about how they could do a CGI uber realistic version of this movie....I needn't have been. This looks VERY good.

They didn't have the time or budget to train hundreds of African animals to perform a shot-by-shot recreation of the original.

Plus some of the lions just refused to speak.

                          LOL.

Just waiting for that technology to advance someday before I am convinced. Still looks really good.

EDIT: I think the real problem is how all of the Comic-Con people said that the clip they saw looked like "real animals talking." I'll give them credit that it's probably the best looking talking animal CGI we've ever seen, but they really build up false hype when they say something like that.

We have to re-live mufasa dying?!

A movie we've technically never seen before, but know it's gonna have one of sadder moments in it.
