Yeah, there could be some soul gem shenanigans w/ Gamora. They established it was 'different' with the trial to acquire it, we'll see how far they want to take that in the next movie.

Yeah, I’m thinking that Gamora is alive inside the Soul Gem and putting it back in place where Thanos got it from restores her to go with the “soul for a soul” stipulation.

I didn't think I would be able to go for a while, but my sister-in-law offered to watch kids for us to go so we packed up at 5 and drove an hour and 15 minutes just to go see the movie where they live. It was worth it and despite not buying tix until 5:30 on the drive there we got them and got great seats. I figured more people would buy online, but they were all going to the ticket booth while we were walking on in and scanning our phone at the ticket taker stand.

As for the movie...

I really enjoyed this one. I didn't like the last Avengera movie that much, but Civil War was solid. I got really hyped when T'Challa shouts "WAKANA FOREVER" and they all charge. It seemed kind of obvious that they would reach a point where Vision was going to have to die. I was talking to my wife about the next movie and how Tony Stark and Cap never fought alongside each other in this one and they still get to explore that dynamic. Doctor Strange had some really bad *** moments. The theatre I went to cheered a lot, but they weren't obnoxious. When Thor shows up with Rocket on his shoulders may be when everyone cheered the most, but they started at the beginning. I really hate that movies start at 7 and then you really don't start until 7:30. Anyways.. I would like to watch it again like I wanted to see Black Panther again, but I don't think it's likely. It's amazing how they incorporated so many characters smoothly.

Hulk didn't come out that he was scared of Thanos cause we haven't seen anybody put him down like that. Was a few times when Thanos wasn't around that I thought he should have come out to fight the Black Orders' Big Guy. When Ebony Maw (think that's his name) said let him have his fun I knew Hulk was going to take a beating but they made Thanos take my boys soul. Lol Thanos had those precision power hits Lol. Have to admit it was funny though

Might have to see this one again in Imax in a few weeks, more I think about all that happened the more I love it.

One of my friends I went and seen it with is a huge Superman fan, I like him to just as he likes Hulk but we go back and forth sometimes Hulk would wax Superman, Superman would beat Hulk. Later on in the movie when it was apparent that Hulk was scared he said "Superman wouldn't have done no **** like that...he would have at least shown up to fight again. I couldn't say nothing but laugh with a little **** you. lmao

Soooo time for some numbers. Unsurprisingly Infinity War is about to officially becoming the highest grossing opening weekend ever after shattering all kinds of other records in the first few days.

On Thursday it dominated with a $106.7 million opening day. It would add on yesterday with an all-time Saturday record of $82 million. Current projections have the movie surpassing Star Wars: The Force Awakens record $247.96 million opening weekend with something between $248 and $250 million for its opening weekend.

I think I'm emotionally ready to see this again in the next couple weeks. Now some thoughts:

Hurt my soul to see my man Hulk catch them hands like that but I agree with you all on how that intantly established Thanos as a bad ***.

Dark. That's the word that kept coming to mind after seeing this. I can't think of any movie in the MCU that had this level of darkness to it. Every other movie they've done just seems ...IDK the word....

Was anyone else hoping for Killmonger to be brought back by Thanos? I knew it wouldn't be the case, though.

I really wanted more of a scene with Okoye and Widow against Proxima. That's some bad *** girl power right there with a **** ton of potential.

These movies have made me more of a Cap fan than the comics ever did.

Ebony is gonna return, isn't he?

Am I wrong in thinking Hela could've thrown down with Thanos (before he got all the stones)?

Oh by the way....worldwide box office? Movie is estimated to make $630 million which shatters the previous record for biggest worldwide opening ever held by The Fate of the Furious’ $541 million.

Avengers is gonna make ALL of the moneys man.

Incredible. Just incredible. It somehow surpassed the hype for me. Best Marvel movie and on my short list of best movies period. Marvel is just killing it.

Watched Ragnarok and Strange on Friday and Saturday. Glad I did or I would have been lost in some parts.

After Killmonger and Thanos, I think we can put to rest the notion Marvel can’t properly do villains.

In the context of these have to take care of business in a 2 to 2-1/2 hour movie versus decades of comic book appearances, there's also nothing wrong with:

• Loki
• Hela
• Vulture
• Ultron
• Iron Monger (c'mon, cool as **** suit)
• Doc Ock (yes, I know)
