Went for a 2nd time last night and a 2nd viewing is almost required. The 1st one is just sensory overload lol. You realize how much dialogue and connections you miss because you're just so hype the first time.

This 100%. That first watch was trying to pick your jaw off the floor with everything that was happening. The second watch I was able to pick up so much more and appreciate it on another level if that's possible lol.

Thoughts after having some time to digest this greatness

In no particular order:

-Thanos ain’t have to beat the green out of Bruce like that. When my man told Thor, “Let him have his fun”, I was yelling to myself “Bruce, wait...WAIT!!”

-Bearded Captain is that dude.

-When T’Challa and Capt were running to the fight(probably my favorite part in the movie)and he yelled out “Wakanda Forever”, y’all have no idea how close I was to standing up in the theater and yelling it out as well. I was already pumped up for that scene as is so I damn near would’ve ran thru a wall for Marvel at that point, lol”

-Shiz, I was thinking the same thing about Thanos bringing back Killmonger. Still a chance he does that and I hope they do because he was too good to just be in one movie. Matter of fact, Marvel...gone ahead and make this happen.

-Stark and Strange were great together, as were Thor/Rocket(Especially when Rocket told Thor where he had that eye hidden at lmao)and Thor/Star-Lord.

-I’m probably the only one but there were times during the movie that I found myself kinda rooting for Thanos. Maybe it’s because of how bad*** he was in the movie and how much of a great job Josh Brolin did in the role.

Don’t really have much more to add but I’m sure it’ll come back to mind throughout the day. I’m the type of person where I gotta see movies at least 2-3 times just so I can remember everything. The 1st time I see a movie, I’m just living in the moment and not really trying to catch every single thing on the first viewing.

Like I said earlier, the wait for the next Avengers is going to be excruciatingly long even if it’s just a year away.

-I'm right there with you on Thanos. For me I could see his point a bit. While ruthless and cold he had a set purpose and it wasn't just the world domination plot driver. He truly thought that he was bettering the Universe. Brolin did an epic job IMO.

-The Cap/Black Panther sprinting ahead and the Thor/Rocket coming out of the BiFrost were so awesome. I don't think I've ever been as amped as I was seeing those two scenes.

Man this movie is so good. I'm gonna have to see it for a 3rd time here real soon. Love reading all your guys' opinions and thoughts.

The first movie I've been to that received an applause and not once, but twice.

Only twice? You're lucky.

My showing last Thursday had probably 11 different applauses/cheers throughout. For me that was pretty annoying.

The movie itself though. I left the theater absolutely loving it, and now that I've had a chance to sleep on it for nearly a week I think I have to agree that this was the best Marvel movie ever. I'm always scared when a movie has a huge cast as it becomes difficult to really do all of them justice. I think IW nailed it though.

I loved the Rocket/Thor scenes, and Rocket saying he was going to take that arm.

Thor was a total bad*** in this one. Nice to finally see the God of Thunder actually look like one (outside of like the last 10 minutes of Thor 3).

Just so many great and epic parts to mention. The one part that did make me angry was Quill screwing up the plan by punching Thanos. It was just far too cliche for my tastes.

Mine was quiet, then when the movie ended the entire theater were up in arms.

Everyone seemed to just be in shock lol. It was quiet and no one left for about 10 minutes after the post credit scene. My 5 year old was crying though lol, hes a huge Spider-Man fan.

Is Thor just becoming a badass or what. He was always just an okay character for me. Then in Ragnorok he elevated himself to that next level where he was just under Cap and Iron Man in terms of awesomeness for me and right there with Black Panther. When they showed Cap behind the train when they came to help Vision and Scarlett Witch Cap just shot up another level for me. But then when Thor comes down on the battle field and just starts decimating the enemy, actually acting the a freaking God, he may have eclipsed Cap for me. He is the **** now. Dude took a blast from a freaking star man lol. Love that they really let Hemsworth play it more with his personality because that dude is pretty funny and witty. Just love what they've done with this character the last two movies.

Complete shock. Crying. Then when there wasn't a first end credit after the animated credit part a bunch of WTFs. After that is was silence until the end credit scene.

TDawg, I agree, Thor shot up to #1 Avenger for me.

After he saw Cap curl a helicopter in Civil War, he had to one up him. Also really loved that Groot made the handle to Storm Breaker. Such a cool moment.

I really hope Thor is in GotG 3. I thought that was the best team up, so hilarious. Him and Rocket hsd some of the best moments. The part he where Thor was talking about how he lost everything was really good.

It was like my first time on a plane. When it took off all of a sudden every single person stopped talking and it got pin drop quiet. I was kinda surprised it was happening. (in the movie theater), or rather it was unexpected for me.
