Re: Avengers: Infinity War
I keep sitting here thinking about that ending.
Spoiler
Whenever I think I'm finally over how it ended, Spider-Man saying through tears "I don't know what's happening, I don't want to go" while Tony rushes to hold him shoots into my head and I just lose it all over again. That was probably the part has me messed up the most. Bucky was shocking, T'Challa was shocking, the Guardians were shocking, but Peter? He was so ****ing scared, man.I'm sitting here crying thinking about it. I care too much about these fictional characters, bruh.
SpoilerI keep thinking about Peter going in Tony's arms. Has me so torn up. I have legit heat with Thanos. **** that guy.St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams

Re: Avengers: Infinity War
SpoilerMight legitimately be the saddest thing I've ever seen in a movie. When it happened I just lost it. I started tearing up with Bucky, but Pete pushed me way over the edge.Boston Red Sox

Re: Avengers: Infinity War
SpoilerThat was A LOT, but in the best way possible. Somehow they fit all those characters into a cohesive, engaging, surprisingly hilarious, and tragic movie. It was every Marvel stereotype turned up to 11, somehow without feeling cheesy, I was in it the whole way and shocked when I realized it was ending so quickly. Spiderman holding Stark and saying "I don't want to go" was the first time I felt like crying in a movie in a minute, still held strong though haha. I can't believe it's a year until Part 2, Ant-Man better give us some follow up on this or I'm not gonna be able to hold.Comment

Re: Avengers: Infinity War
I'm with DieHard on the only real knock I can give this thing.
SpoilerKnowing the movie slate you kind of feel like you know who's deaths won't stick, but at the same time you don't have a clue how they'll play things. Just because there is a Spider-Man movie coming in 2019 doesn't necessarily mean Peter Parker will be in. Marvel has already let us know that Miles Morales exists in the MCU so if they wanted to, they could take that direction with things. These kind of speculations is what is going to make this wait for part 2 even worse for the next year.SpoilerThe 2019 Spidey movie happens after "Avengers 4" doesn't it? You really think they would take Peter Parker (and thus Tom Holland) out of the equation?
Great movie obviously and itSpoilerstunned me that they hit the ground running with Hulk getting pulverized and Loki running out of tricks.Comment

Great movie obviously and itSpoilerstunned me that they hit the ground running with Hulk getting pulverized and Loki running out of tricks.SpoilerI don't think they will, but I wouldn't put it past them. Marvel just showed us that they aren't afraid to pull the trigger on anybody if it fits the story they want to tell. Loki is likely gone for good considering he was dead long before Thanos snapped his fingers. Gamora was killed off before the dusting. Granted I think there's a chance hers doesn't stick, but just the fact that they did it and it came before the big purge that Thanos did. It's gonna be insane speculating what direction they're going in this next year as we wait for answers, but that just shows how well they did their job here because we have no clue really.

I read somewhere that the Spidey 2019 sequel will take place minutes after the ending of "Avengers 4".

They established it was 'different' with the trial to acquire it, we'll see how far they want to take that in the next movie.Comment

Re: Avengers: Infinity War
Just saw the movie and have to agree with everybody here that is was ****ing incredible, loved it!
2 minor things that bugged me and I'm really being picky with one and a fanboy with the other..nothing seriousSpoilerThe scene when Spidey and Ironman were trying to pull the Gaunlet off was a bit weird to me only because of Star Lord having the conversation with him. Just seemed like they stopped trying to pull it off just so Star Lord could talk to him and build up to the moment he knocked Thanos back into reality.
My fanboy gripe is why they do Hulk like that? He gets beat down by Thanos (which I can deal with) and is scared to come out again during the movie? Thats not my boy Hulk! Lol
Speaking of Thanos he was one of the best Villans Marvel has had, he wasn't just a badass destroy all kinda of guy like I thought he would be. He showed more emotion than I knew the character had, was surprised as hell when he teared up a bit when he knew he had to kill Gamora and I was like what?! The expressions and things he did other than being a badass were very surprising and I loved it.
Everybody had their shine, Dr Strange was a bad dude and Thor just took over and raised the bar a little. like said earlier when he showed up with Rocket on his shoulder I was like oh hell yeah. Loved the way the different characters had banter between them.
Star Lord mocking Thor trying to sound more manly was funny, Drax telling Star Lord he is a dude and Thor was a man, with the big muscles and all had everybody laughing. Love the Drax character btw he did what Drax does, say crazy **** and fight when the time comes.
There were so many tragic and funny moments in the movie, it was balanced very good but it started off with a OMG when Thanos killed Loki, I was like what?! Knew I was in for a ride and enjoyed every moment, seeing the Avengers that were for now killed was like damn...crazy and Spidey going in Tonys' arm was DEEP. I felt bad for them all but that one you really saw him as a kid there if that makes any sense. The after credit scene when they showed Nick Furys' device I was like please show Xmen and or Fantastic Four symbol. Hell of a movie, hell of a ride can't wait for the next.-= Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.=- Edward MurphyComment
