Thor and Rabbit is the best. Hilarious lmao. That shot where Thor comes back with Rocket on his shoulder was so bad ***. Everyone cheered in the theater. I would get a toy with that shot. But being serious that Spidey, Ironman and Strange was amazing. Heart wrenching when spidey turned to dust in Tony’s arms. Wow

Yeah, best Marvel movie for sure. Had an 8 PM showing last night and was going to post after but I couldn't even get my thoughts together lol, just so excited thinking about what I just saw and what's next. Get the bad out of the way first.

Cons: Marvel puts their movie schedule out so far in advance that I feel like their press releases are almost like dirt sheets now, you're watching certain people die and thinking, "Well wait a minute, homie has a movie coming out next summer" LOL.

That's really the only thing I can complain about and it's not even a problem with the movie.

Pros: where do you start? This movie just showed that the Marvel style can absolutely work and still have their movies be taken seriously. There are tons of jokes in this, a lot of them landed at least for me (WHERE IS GOMORRAH, WHO IS GOMORRAH, WHY IS GOMORRAH had me in literal tears, that whole scene was perfect, not to fanboy too hard but seriously the way they bring these characters together is just perfect, really reminds you of the first Avengers, and makes you wish the TV characters could be in), but from the moment Thanos snapped until the credits rolled there was complete silence in the theater. It was chilling. I looked over at my brother when Spider-Man was fading and we both were about to cry. That kid is great.

Shout out to the Guardians because I've never bothered to see their movies and they really helped balance the tone of this movie. Most of their scenes were hilarious and made me want to go watch their movies this weekend. The CGI in this was incredible to me. I wasn't going over it with a fine tooth comb or anything, but nothing stood out as looking bad, Thanos looked incredible, him boxing with the Hulk in the beginning was the perfect way to establish his strength.

Could go on forever man, this movie is awesome. 10 years in the making and they exceeded my expectations. Really a pretty much perfect movie for me.

Avengers: Infinity War

If you guys have an imax in your area, this is a must see in imax. My goodness how awesome it was shot in all imax cameras.

Seeing it again in an hour but chose to go with the comfy recliners this time around. Sit back and enjoy the goodness.

Kinda not ready to see Spidey wither away again. That was heart breaking.

Here’s my theory about who was kept. You’ll notice that pretty much the original avengers are alive and I think that there will be a sacrifice of at least the big 3 to bring back the rest. Next movie could be the last for them.

I’m hoping though at least we get every single one of them in a battle and go out with a big bang.

It would be awesome if Sony used this as the reason why Spider-Man isn't in Venom.

Too much to unpack still to really leave an overall post with my feelings, which kinda says it all. Still in the honeymoon period so won't call it my favorite yet but it probably is. With the events that transpired, the nostalgia involved as a comic reader... yeah, this was good.

It's great how a different director(s) makes this feel like a true crossover movie, capturing the style and tone of the Guardians for example, that subset of the cast never misses a beat coming right out of their own movies.

How would you say the Russo Bros. handled an Avengers film compared to that of Whedon? (though Civil War was a bit of a handful in itself so I think I may have a pretty good idea)

It's hard to see anyone else doing a better job mixing the tones of different teams as well as the emotional points in the movie. So well done in both pacing and tone.
