Glen Campbell Dies At Age 81

Glen Campbell passed away at age 81 and he had Alzheimer's.

He was a talented singer/guitarist with a #1 hit of Rhinestone Cowboy.

Glen performed with the Beach Boys and many other artists.

Here is a video of some of his guitar solos. Hendrix before Hendrix.

Part of the Wrecking Crew, unbeknownst to me, until I saw this special. Can see why he was a session musician from the initially posted video. Didn't really care for the solo career songs as they always seemed too sappy. But man, what a talent.

Check out Glen Campbell: I'll Be Me on Netflix. Watched it a couple of months ago. It's a documentary profiling his diagnosis and his farewell tour. A good watch.

Wow, check out this interview with Alice Cooper.

High respect for Glen Campbell the guitar player.

Eddie Van Halen asked for a guitar lesson from Glen.

Watched it when it first came out. Really tough to watch quite sad to see a guy like that suffer with that disease. One of the best. RIP.

Wow, I remember Jim Croce music sales spiked after his unfortunate death, but that was well before streaming content.
