Personally, I honestly can't wait for this movie. It's gonna be weird, and gritty, and make people ask a lot of questions. Which is exactly what a Joker origin movie should be.

I like his look pre-Joker though i'm not sure what to make of the actual Joker makeup. It looks like a mashup of Pennywise, Bozo, and something the Heath Ledger Joker would come up with before completely falling into the deep end.

It looks like the mask Ledger wore in the beginning and has similarities to John Wayne Gacy's makeup.

The makeup is starting to look creepier the more I see it, and I love that. It's definitely a mix between Cesar Romero and Heath Ledger.

Saw someone comment that Joaquin Phoenix is too old to play the Joker. But the thing is...nobody knows anything about the Joker. Not his age, his name, where he's from, anything. That's why I'm so intrigued by this movie, because they chose a character whose origin is completely up to the imagination.

Just the gritty part has been in articles. I'm assuming because it's Joaquin Phoenix that it will be weird and make people ask questions.
