Season starts next Wednesday. Cast announced tonight. Not exactly a star studded cast, but still some interesting names. Sports wise we have Metta World Peace and Chuck Liddell. Omarosa will be in it. The woman who "won" the miss universe pageant will be there, along with others. Many seemed to be celebs who also appeared on the apprentice or dancing with the stars.

Yeah, this looks like it is going to be a trainwreck of a season. Really don't know what to make of it.

But I have no interest in this at all.

I actually had hope we'd have at least half of the cast be actual celebrities. I should have known better. Hopefully if they ever do celebrity survivor it's better than this.

I watch 18 nobodies every summer for 3 months, I don't mind watching 11 nobody celebs for 3 weeks.

Except it will probably be worse because they want off the d-list, not to just make the d-list.

No real celebrity was ever going to do this. There is too much risk to their image seeing them 24/7 and where they can't control what is seen.

I'll watch it but I'm not expecting very much. I thought I'd love this but it being just three weeks long really kills it. I also thought I'd love to see the "Stars" on MTV's The Challenge Champs vs Stars but it's just a watered down version of the real thing (challenge wise anyway). I anticipate this being about the same level on entertainment, which isn't very high but better than nothing.

Hopefully if they ever do celebrity survivor it's better than this.

Don't know why BB hasn't been able to get better people for it. Survivor actually has had some celebs apply for their show many times and actually made it on. Names like Jeff Kent, Cliff Robinson, Jimmy Johnson, Brad Culpepper among others.

Even Amazing Race occasionally has celebs on it. They have Shawn Marion on this season for example among other slightly famous people.


Though the main issue is finding an entire cast willing to do something for the amount of days they need to. Survivor would be 39 straight days, Big Brother even in this case is 3 straight weeks. It's not like a TV show where you just show up for taping each and every day, and once that's over, you go to your hotel.

This is exactly what I was gunna say. Omarosa is probably a bigger name than everyone listed above and that’s only because she went off on President Trump 10 years ago on Celebrity Apprentice.

And if anyone actually finished BB19, they can get through anything. Still can't believe there was so little to watch on TV last summer that I actually continued to watch BB19 lol.

Even Celebrity BB, as bad as it might be, most other shows are taking breaks, so what else is there to watch? It could end up being good, or just end up being so bad you can't look away.

All start at 8pm EST. Friday episodes are 2hrs long. The 25th is the season finale, 2 hour episode.

First episode was actually decent. Some celebs actually being BB fans helps alot. I think a fan wins this season because of how clueless others could be about strategic elements of game.

Omarosa I actually think will be the star of season, unfortunately her winning the random safety won't help the BB riggage claims(why not have them turn over the star to see who won rather than Julie saying the winning number) . Ross seems like the exact person BB might have casted anyways for a regular season, so he could also be someone who goes far. Funniest moment would've been if Miss Colombia won hoh, then that recast power took it away from her. Before this season is over, they just have to have a moment like that.

I thought the first episode was horrible, I have already lost interest.
As did my whole "family" and we have watched every season of BB.
I am sure we will continue to watch the next few episodes but I don't see me making the whole season.
These "celebrities" are just boring.
Again I know it has only been one season, but wow was I bored.
Mark McGrath's face doesn't move.

BB really gotta stop with these twists. How rigged does it look that they have some big secret power where odds aren't in peoples favor to get it, and it happens to go to someone in the first possible moment they can get it. There's like a 10% chance of that happening.

And that Omarosa/Rudy fight...Topics like what they were discussing we can't discuss on OS, but no doubt this is type of stuff BB wanted to have. And the Omarosa-Ross moment too is one that IMMEDIATELY caught attention of the news. I just happened to flip to CNN for a split second and they were dissecting that entire clip. The episode literally just happened and they're already all over it. If BBs goal was to be covered all over the news, they've already gotten their wish.

lol, maybe it's just the hair, but appearance wise he reminds me of Josh Segarra (Adrian Chase on Arrow).

As for MWP/Artest, guess he really didn't want to be in this game. Already can't take it in the house and just wants to be with his family, and has 0 knowledge of anything BB related.


Everyone has their preference on what they like/don't like on these types of shows, but so far I actually like it. Shannon in this episode was great. Really gave that old school BB strategist feel. She's truly playing this game the way that regular players should be playing it.
