Everyone has their preference on what they like/don't like on these types of shows, but so far I actually like it. Shannon in this episode was great. Really gave that old school BB strategist feel. She's truly playing this game the way that regular players should be playing it.

Shannon seems like a legitimate BB player, she's scheming, she's socializing, she's scamming, and still staying low key. When MWP came to her and offered himself up to be on the block, and she wanted him to promise not to open his gift basket... that was great lol, he was offering her the gift of being up, and she made him offer up more.

I hope she doesn't overplay because if anyone catches on she'll be a target real quick, even if they're trying to do some girl alliance that never works, and every season all the girls think it's a great idea anyway.

In this type of season, I think these things can work. Good strategist, all girls alliance, sneaky moves, all of it.

The mwp part was great gameplay too. He wants out, but Shannon wants to keep him knowing he's not a threat, she can aim for bigger target, and he'll be easy to get out at any time, assuming he doesn't self evict.

I just feel this season being so much more likely than any to actually have shot at successful girls alliance for various reasons. Some know each other already, so that's automatic trust.

Some of these HGs are playing such a serious game (in a good way). Regular players need to take note. Shannon is probably gonna be one of biggest targets ever. A 16 letter word in a spelling comp?! I think that has to be a record for sure.

Metta is so clueless about everything Big Brother. He literally almost walked into someones live vote in the DR, then when he entered the DR himself, he just started talking when Julie didn't even switch to him yet lol, and then casts his vote when Julie was in middle of talking to him, and walks out lol. Producers need to prep him because he could very well determine the winner of this season and we have another "Topaz vote" (where the person she voted for in the final was the wrong person and it changed the winner of the season). On the feeds he said that he voted for Chuck, thinking that meant Chuck STAYED. Not that it made a difference luckily, but they really need to explain the game to him.

If Metta/Ari are the F2, that would be so funny, they're the 2 most clueless players in the house.

lol, I'm sure producers will clarify things for HGs, especially after their first live vote. Live TV with HGs(celebs) who might not fully understand what to say/do is risky.

Speaking of Chuck, he gets to go home and watch the show and then returns later as jury to crown a winner. Almost for sure just a celeb BB thing, but wonder if they ever considered that for the regular BB. Definitely would change so much about the game. Though this guarantees the fan fave between the finalists is winning. Jury won't go home, see people hate someone, then vote for them.

3 episodes in and I'm actually enjoying this season so much more than I thought. Maybe it's because past few seasons of BB has been underwhelming and filled with cookie cutter BB recruits, but this one has provided much more interesting start to season than many of the recent ones.

Past season of Survivor was underwhelming. As much as others hated it, I found one of the best parts to watch was Ben finding idols and blindsiding people.

Even Amazing Race this year has been competitive. That's what these shows need more of, competitiveness. Even in a celeb season, the hard gameplay is what's making this so much more fun.

Metta can't win (though knowing him, if he won, he'd probably exit house all angry thinking he was just voted out lol).

Even in a celeb season, we see the floaters, masterminds, underrated players. The fact that they thought Marissa couldn't come up with a strategy shows how they underrate her, not knowing she's a fan. If BB is actually rigged, they better make it a Shannon-Ross F2 because they've been playing the game the best so far. Though like too many seasons I watch of BB/Survivor, seems like one of my faves might go early, and to make it worse, one of my other faves might be the reason why.

I disagree, Shannon is playing too hard, I like what Marissa is doing better, laying low, Shannon's saving grace is that the person who figured her out is Omarosa lol, it'll be interesting to see how strategies work in a hyper paced season, maybe laying low won't work in a short term season, maybe playing hard will work because there are so many stubborn personalities you can use their defiance against them. Shannon has tried to scale it down with her interactions too, she's overcorrected and it's annoying

Her gameplay is an almost automatic winning one if she makes it to the end, especially with the jury being able to go home and watch everything, and see fan reaction online. Unless of course it ends up like BB3 where jury goes home and takes diary room moments personally and votes against someone simply because of "private" (and specifically chosen/edited) comments they made.

Right now I'd rank it (in terms of most likely to win if they make it to the end based on gameplay so far)

I'm liking this season much more than I thought I would.

I'm not sure if it's smart at this point, but Ross back-dooring Shannon or James this week would be really entertaining to see. Especially, after Shannon talked James into throwing the veto to Ross. It may be too early for that type of a move, however it would be a game-changer. I liked the final 4 deal between Ross, Shannon, James and Marissa but I also that that Ross and Marissa would be stupid to go to the F4 with those two.

As far a Metta, he's hilarious. When he called them all nerds.
For entertainment, I think I would rather see a normal season full of clueless people, who know nothing about BB, than seeing people who have studied for years. It's kind of refreshing.
