They wouldn't find Phillip and Elizabeth Jennings on that list as they probably went under aliases. They would have to check all flights leaving from Washington DC Thanksgiving night to see that Phillip never boarded a plane under his name unless they created a dummy flight to another city. He does own a travel agency.

Re: The Americans - Season 6
SpoilerThat's what I'm afraid of...Personally, I'd hate to see that, even if we get a time jump.
Like I said at the beginning of this thread, series Finales for shows that i really love make me nervous. With only two episodes left I'm expecting **** to hit the fan. I don't know what I necessarily want to happen, all I want is to see a wild ride with a good solid conclusion.
I'm just hoping that the Celtics sweep the Cavs so I don't have to pick between Game 5 and the penultimate episode. Also, if you haven't seen the episodes title name it's
SpoilerJennings, Elizabeth - most of the time you only see names like that in two places... Arrest Reports or Obituaries *gulpsMy 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Holy ****. What a ****ing episode with so many incredible acting performances. My God!.
Imagine if this happened last year. Imagine we didn't know this series was ending next week and we had no expectation or reason to think it would. I hate knowing!Comment

Re: The Americans - Season 6
You're right, the acting performances were particularly superb. I can't wait to see members of the cast go off into other projects
Being the penultimate episode of the series and the fact it was titled Jennings, Elizabeth there was speculation that Elizabeth would be either killed or captured. I'm glad that did not happen.
I wonder what they'll do with Stan's girlfriend? She was probably a decoy but who knows?
Many of the episodes have gone beyond one hour (counting commercials) but the finale will be supersized at an hour and a half.Comment

Re: The Americans - Season 6
That's what's dumb. This is all gonna feel rushed. And, as Psy told me last night, it's gonna be like "lol shows over now k bye"
What happened early this season should have happened last season, and these last few episodes should have been early episodes this year.
There should be like 6 episodes left given what's happened. Like, at least. Really there should be another season after this.Comment

Yeah, I definitely feel like this has been a little rushed. For example, we should have at least gotten the scene were Paige witnessed Jackson's drunken confession. The scene between Paige and Elizabeth was amazingly acted and a great scene for sure. However, I think that seeing Paige's initial reaction to Jackson's story and realizing that her mother has been lying to her all along would have been awesome. I would have taken that instead of Elizabeth's flashbacks. That's probably the only thing that they really dropped the ball on, in my opinion.
I could do 6 more episode's, seeing the Jenningses (or insert new family name) on the run would be fresh and new. Watching all of these great acting performances and realizing that we're never going to see these actors/actresses and their characters in a new episode again is starting to hit home a bit.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: The Americans - Season 6
Tough crowd. I don't know what was rushed unless you want 6 or 7 more episodes of Philip, Elizabeth and Paige on the run. Stan started suspecting at the beginning of episode 7 so it seems right to me.
Perfect pacing to bring the finale to the finish line. Outstanding season with no weak episodes.Comment

Re: The Americans - Season 6
There's definitely a ton to squeeze in. What happens with the summit (actual history of what happened aside)? What happens to Henry and the business? What happens with Paige and Pastor Tim? What about Oleg and where he is right now or what happens to him and his family in Russia? What happens with Stan and potentially his chick? What happens to Phillip and Elizabeth? Are they gonna have proof pop up or is it all speculation?
I mean, there's a ton. And I'd like to see them on the run and see what happens after their capture/killing/whatever. I'd like to see the ramifications. I don't want them to do any flash forwards or any "by the way, _____ happened to _____"
The season has been very, very good. But there's way too much left for there to only be one episode left.Comment

Re: The Americans - Season 6
It comes down to is it a lot to squeeze in or does it need to be squeezed in? The series is over or near over when Philip and Elizabeth get caught. Like in the real world not everything concludes at the same time gift-wrapped with a bow on top.
What happens to Philip and Elizabeth? That will be addressed in the finale. If one or more of them escape we don't need another season of "The Jennings In Canada".
What happens with Paige and Pastor Tim? Are you talking about their past relationship?-that ship has sailed. Paige is part of "Team The Americans" (you don't think they're going to leave her behind?) and Lyin' Pastor Tim is living it up overseas. The only thing they have in common is that they are both traitors. Even if Tim fesses up it doesn't matter because they probably have an album of surveillance photos of a thinly disguised Philip when he met with the priest.
What about Oleg and where he is right now or what happens to him and his family in Russia? Oleg is locked up and his family is in Russia. Nothing changes.
There is a slew of time left to deal with Stan's possible spy gal although she's at 4-1 odds of being a true blue American.
If you're of the mindset that season five ate up precious time for season six's already shortened ten episodes then you might be predisposed to thinking "crammed". There was no cramming. Season five stood on its own. Season six stood on its own. (IMO)Comment

The season has been very, very good. But there's way too much left for there to only be one episode left.
They're going to show all of that through a montage at the end of the episode, of course.
Music cue: "Don't Dream it's Over" by Crowded House (same as the opening montage to the season)
Montage shows:
The business: the FBI raiding it and eventually boarding it up
Henry: coach pulls him out of practice and points to an FBI agent (Henry looks shocked)
Pastor Tim/ Paige: (Paige refused to go on the run with her parents) shows walking out of a building and looks at a plane ticket (it's destination: Argentina where she will be joining Pastor Tim)
Oleg: sitting in prison with a stoic expression and his wonderful beard even longer
Stan/Renee - (after Stan is fired and loses his best friend he is depressed) Renee is consoling him as he lays in bed. She gets up, goes to the laundry room and begins crying. (she's been a spy all alone and without Stan in the FBI, her hopes of working crushed and with no support from the Soviet Centre she is now stuck in a life that she doesn't want but has no way out
Phillip/Elizabeth - (after going on the run and taking on new identities) Phillip is teaching Elizabeth how to country line dance in some rural country bar in middle America.... now they are True Americans
