Hopefully I'm not waiting on a restock otherwise it defeats the purpose of preordering. The ones I noticed in the wild were Babe Ruth and Muhhamad Ali. What's really throwing me off are the MLB mascots as they were dated for April, changed to May but on another website they have them now listed as May 2020 so I haven't a clue what's going on there. I'd like to think I didnt preorder something that's been pushed back a year but since this is the first time ever preordering anything like this I also dont really know how it plays out typically.

I'm going out of box once I get my shelves put up. I have some expensive ones that I got before they went up a ton, but I'm not looking to sell. I'll keep the boxes, but I'm not putting boxes on shelves.

Yeah I saw the baseball mascots on there, only bummer is they dont have the Mariner Moose available which is the one I wanted the most but the rest I wanted are on there. Then the Ali and Babe Ruth are available on FYE's site so can grab those there. I'm having a hell of a time finding the Baker Mayfield though which is supposed to be on a reorder at EE but like the rest I ordered it was pushed back. I figure I'll check out FYE, Hot Topic, Gamestop, ThinkGeek and Box Lunch on Friday at the mall and see what I can find then go from there but thanks for the heads up.

I haven't opened it yet... I'm in the process of putting up some new cases and moving things around a bit. I'll probably just display the car on my end table by my batman cases since it's so big.

I'm glad I decided not to try and collect the Marvel or Star wars ones. There are already a ton and now there are at least 36 new ones for Star wars coming.

I just collect what I like. Like with Marvel I have pretty much at least one of all the main characters but that's mainly it. I do have multiples of the some Avengers. I try to go with a theme like on my TV stand I have almost all of the Avengers who fought in Infinity war, I have a Glow in the Dark shelf above my TV that's mixed with other glow in the dark pops, then i Have some smaller shelf dedicated to the main Avengers and Spider-man that has multiples. However, I didn't get any Endgame pop's because I just didn't feel the need for them. I just buy what I want and mix them in with a theme (if I have a open spot).

I'm about to try my hand at some customs. I picked up most of the gold Avengers pops at Barnes and Nobles a few weeks ago. I bought them when there was a 3 for $20 deal, plus another 15% off so they were only like 6 bucks each. I don't like that they're just all Gold so I'm going to paint them with a metallic paint and put them all in a bat case.

I already had a Red Chrome Spider-Man and Iron Man that I will put with the set and probably keep the same. The rest I'm looking for suggestions on.

Hulk - Green (obviously)
Black Panther - Black (for sure)
Captain America - Blue?
Thor - Keep Gold?
Groot - Brown?
Ant-man - Orange?
Dr. Strange - ?
Black Widow - Purple?


I still have to buy the following but will eventually

I think that's everybody... then I already have all of the chrome Thanos's.

No way I could take pictures of all the additions. I went from not having a single one of these to having 82 of them in about 2.5 months time so I probably need to slow down. Having said that I rationalize it away that the fiancee wanted some of them so they aren't all mine lol. The lastest one's I added...

As you can see, I have a problem.

That's how my wife and I were, as well. I bought one (Baby Groot) in December 2017. I bought about 10-15 after he came in because he looked lonely then I was pretty content. I remember the exact day my (and my wife's) pop collecting went into overdrive. It was the day before Valentine's Day and we went on our VD dinner. I somehow I discovered the Pop Price Guide that day and we both spent the majority of our dinners showing each other pops in the guide as we discovered them.

Then those first trips out "in the wild" were something. We were like kids in a candy store looking through everything and desperately searching for a "Chase" while we were at it. It didn't help that TRU and our closest FYE closed around that time either. Then we found some of the Facebook groups and it was really balls to the wall after that. I'm pretty sure our mail lady hated us with a passion during that time.

Now both of our rooms are pretty full (my manroom and her craft room) so we have to be pickier. After collecting a while, you pretty much know everything that's out. So now it's either wait on something new to release or pay extra for old/vaulted releases. It's not as fun (mainly because those first few months of collecting was such a whirlwind), but I still enjoy it a lot.

The Creators are a Barnes and Noble exclusive. They're probably pretty scarce right now but I have seen some in-store recently. You might find one in a store in your area still. You should be able to check each stores stock to see if they're available. Just call ahead (hopefully you get a helpful employee).

They can certainly be expensive to collect, especially if you want something that is older/vaulted. If you stick to new stuff then it's not too bad as long as you don't go crazy (which is hard not to). Of course, it can be frustrating at time because you can't always get what you want but when you do get something you want, then it feels pretty good.
