Will be watching Wonder Woman 1984 tomorrow night on HBO Max.

        Loved the first one.

They're having a Willy Wonka prequel coming out in 2023.

Its about Wonkas life before the factory.

I'm guessing this is based on the original and not the remake, because the Johnny Depp remake actually did go into Wonkas backstory in flashback scenes.

And since it doesn't include his life during the factory, I'm guessing we won't see all the events leading up to him shutting down the factory and firing all the employees?

Super Stoked. And it sucks one will fall. These are my two favorite monsters ever. I loved both Godzilla movies thus far and really enjoyed Kong Skull Island as well. They have been really well done.

I think the future of this Monsterverse is in doubt though after this 4th installment. Godzilla King of The Monsters did not do that great. I thought the movie was awesome.

Oh well. At least we got these 4 new visions of our childhood Toho classics (and Kong).

In the U.S., Godzilla is more like a cult figure. There only a limited number of fans who are into him. The movie couldn't bring in the casual fans. WB messed up by releasing it too soon after Endgame.

The poor score at Rotten Tomatoes didn't help either, but to hell with them. RT gave The Last Jedi high marks.

I havent seen the 2nd Godzilla movie yet, but will probably check it out since its on HBO Max. I loved the first one.

I, for one, don't listen to the critics portion of RT. Most of these critics don't know what makes a good movie or TV show. I will pay attention to maybe the audience portion, but never the critics. I just end up watching it to make my own determination instead of relying on someone else to make the decision for me.

Godzilla KOTM is a love letter to hardcore G-fans like myself. I felt like a kid again watching those old Toho movies on Saturday mornings on Ch.9 or 11 here in NY. The monster designs are fantastic - they took the classics and updated them, and it was so cool to hear bits of the old themes. Critics complain about the human characters...please....it's a friggin' Godzilla film! The only character we ever cared about was Dr. Serizawa from the 1954 Japanese original (to this day, it's still the best G-film because of its dark/somber tone).

My only quibble was cutting away from the monster battles too much (which must be an American thing).
