Ben Affleck will return as Batman in The Flash.

Only a matter of time before we get an announcement that Henry Cavill returns as Superman, maybe even in his own movie.

Well according to the man himself, he'd love to play Superman again.


Ben Affleck isn't the only actor returning to a role. Tobey McGuire is in talks to play Spider-Man in the upcoming Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.

EDIT: Which is all very fitting, since Sam Raimi is directing it, and the first name drop of Doctor Strange happened in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2, starring Tobey McGuire.

Kang the Conquerer will officially be in Ant-Man 3. No idea if he's just the bad guy for that movie, or if he's the next Big Bad for the MCU.

But he will be played by Jonathan Majors.

Could lead into introducing the Fantastic Four.

Writer/director Aneesh Chaganty (who made Searching, my favorite movie of 2018) is releasing a new movie called Run, which will be available for streaming November 20th on Hulu.

Below is a trailer, which I of course will not watch. Yet at the same time, I can't be any more excited.

Normally I wouldn't do this, but if you have a free five minutes of time, I highly, highly recommend that you watch the opening five minutes to Searching. It is kind of a montage that introduces the characters to the film, but if you haven’t seen a screencasting film before then this can get you the gist pretty quickly. If you’re sold on the concept after that, rent the movie. If not, leave it be. I, for one, think this is a beautifully done opening and really sets the tone for the rest of what the film will offer.

It's better to go about piquing your intrigue by watching the prologue rather than the trailer (just like I'm avoiding for the movie above) so you can go in as blind as possible.

IDK about this one. Seems like putting out a movie about COVID never ending seems like a bad idea.

You and I have had our differences, but I'm completely with you on this. Seems like a money grab preying on people's woes and fears. Suicide and alcoholism/drug use is outrageous and this is a diversion? Movies used to be a diversion, but I see seemingly so much more doom and gloom.

Johnny Depp gone from his major role in the Fantastic Beasts movie.

Anyone following the personal/legal issues he's been dealing with would know why.


Sucks to see him gone from the movie, especially since anyone who knows the Harry Potter world will know how big of a role his character was going to play in the upcoming movies. Although his part in the first 2 movies (especially the first) wasn't so big, so replacing him won't be as hard since his appearance isn't as attached with the character yet.

There's SO MUCH in this movie.

This could be one of the best MCU movies ever.

DCU had a cool multiverse earlier this year during their Infinite Earths crossover where they had characters from past DC shows and movies make an appearance, but the Spiderman characters/actors are way more popular so this will definitely be cooler.
