I’m still excited for Shrek 5 even if the graphics look kinda bad. It’s Shrek so I’ll watch it no matter what. Just hope it feels more like the old movies and not all jokes and memes.

Simpsons Movie 2 is happening.
I know the first got criticized for happening "too late in to the shows run after things declined", which is funny since its been almost 20 now since that movie and the show is still on, but I definitely agree with the general consensus nowadays of the show had a huge decline after the movie.
The show from 1-9 was great. 10-19 was real good too. 20-29 declined a lot. And the show in the 30s right now to me at least is a "I'll read the episode description and see what people on IMDB grade it before I even think of watching an episode". Too many episodes just fall flat. Even ones that sound good from the description just turn bad within 5-10 minutes.
And I'm tired of every other episode involving Homer and Marge relationship issues and the voice actress for Marge unfortunately needs to realize they can't do that Marge voice anymore.Shrek 1 was the better movie, but I loved Shrek 2 a lot (better music, and I played the video game back then too which seemed so cool to be able to character swap during story modes back then).
3 is when the decline really happened, and 4 was just weird.
When you think about it, most of the movies didn't even have Shrek with Fiona. First half of the 1st movie was getting to the castle, the part close to the end was when they went their separate ways. Half of the 2nd movie was when they became human and she thought Charming was Shrek. The 3rd movie Shrek left to find the new King. And the 4th movie I don't even remember much of it but I think it was a fantasy like sequence where they never met?
Maybe Shrek 5 should just be a movie about Shrek, Fiona, Donkey all together? No B and C stories which involves them splitting up.Comment
