    Re: Big Brother 20

The JC/Bay thing was odd because I thought it was going to be a bigger deal

He tried to explain that the M word is offensive to him similar to how the N word is offensive to her.

How it got bogged down in semantics after that was the weird part. I'm glad they eventually hashed it out, but it didn't feel like that much time needed to be spent on it during the episode since neither person meant it maliciously and both seemed apologetic.

They got caught up in the language in a way that was like "ok, neither of you meant to do any wrong, can we move on now?"

When you see just how many sites picked up on things like that, you can understand why BB showed so much. Those are the people making it seem like it's such a controversial moment that'll define the season or something. I've even read articles where they have to point out peoples backgrounds and mention the person in question hasn't been removed/punished, as if it's some big controversial thing.

She knows her power is used automatically(a word she has said at least once an episode for like 2 weeks now, and it sounds like she's never said it before entering this house) on whoever is evicted this week. So what's her big plan...she'll win HOH, put a target on her back, get someone evicted fully knowing they have a 50-50 chance of returning! She literally just had to do nothing this week and she'd be fine. Even tell whoever is going home that her power will save them and gain an ally if they return. She did the exact opposite of the smart move. To top it off, she not only nominates people, she digs into them too!

The Kaitlyn/Tyler stuff was funny. Partly funny because Kaitlyn actually did figure it out, but then the theory she sticks with is the completely wrong one. If Tyler doesn't win this season, it would have been a waste. He's making moves while staying under the radar.

And that whole Bayleigh-JC stuff was weird. I get how Bayleigh wouldn't even want someone to use that word, but I also don't think JC had any intention at all of being offensive. She's been living with him for weeks now, he doesn't seem like the type of person who would try being mean or offensive to someone. He might say/do things that are controversial, but I don't view it as him being a bad person or offensive. Maybe just not self-aware?

I also never realized that word used towards JC was actually an offensive enough term that it got bleeped. I know it's an improper term to use, but didn't realize it was bleep worthy.

Kaitlyn also said the same word as JC, which of course caught peoples attention, though in her context, she was literally just reciting part of a Drake song, and one of the lyrics just happened to have that in it.
She needs to lie and tell the 2 people that she puts up that she doesn't want either of them to leave.
Then tell them she has a power and will bring back whoever is evicted.
Tell them she will use this power if whoever she saves promises not to put her up the rest of the season.

Even then, why become HOH in the first place?! Sam and Tyler shouldn't have even been the final 2. Let Kaycee win it or something.

Yeah, I don't get Sam's play at all. Literally, all she had to do was to lose, and let the week play out. Then tell whoever is on the block that she's going to use her power to save them. That way someone else get blood on their hands and she potentially makes a new ally.

She basically did the opposite of that. Wins HoH, comes off as a power tripping dictator, and really pisses off two people with her nomination speech... all the while knowing full well that neither one of them is going home. Maybe it's her plan to patch things up with them now and save them without no one else knowing (other than Tyler) then be like "no one will suspect us of working together now". However, that just seems really far fetched to me. Honestly, I just don't get it.

She doesn't know how to play the game. Even Tyler staying up there was stupid. She was even screaming for him to drop. As soon as the comp started she changed completely.... maybe they made a twin switch or she has multiple personalities. It was very weird.

Smart move was to drop early and who cares what happens. Neither side was putting up Sam or Tyler. Now Sam is a target after this week.

Did CBS stack the deck for Tyler? It's obvious what is happening and neither side sees it. Paul may have won this season after CBS' failed attempt to get him a win.

No, because the show can't fix the real reason Paul can't win, in that he is actually a condescending douchehole. Tyler is not burdened with that condition.

And man, Sam's HoH reign has shocked my wife and me. she is easily our favorite player, and did not see this coming. I didn't mind her winning, because it would give her the position to soften the blow of nominations and control who gets that shot. I didn't even totally mind her HoH room rules, given her power and how she needs it to go.

But I cannot understand why she thought it was a good idea to slut shame her nominees. That negates everything she had going for her this season.

Kaycee didn't want it, she just didn't want to have another Kaitlyn HOH, as soon as Kaitlyn fell Kaycee dropped.

Tyer I imagine only stayed in it that long because he didn't want to have to babysit her all week again like he did her first HOH.

Sam though it made no sense why she wanted it.

She would not see his side of it at all. They were both saying the exact same thing, he forgave her but she wouldn't.
And by the way her point that she is always discriminated against compared to him was kind of weird too.
The dude is a 4' gay man with a very bad Hispanic accent.
Pretty sure he is been discriminated a lot in his life too.
I doubt there is hardly ever a room that he walks into, that someone is not staring or making fun of him.

I want to say, as a live feeder, this has been one of the best starts to the season ever. Even on slow days (Tuesday and Wednesday), game talk goes down, the split votes, the blindsides, Kaitlyn being insane. What a start to the season.

So far this has been a good start to the season. Hopefully this doesn't jinx it, because many seasons I am optimistic to start, but once the jury happens (and even the week or so before), that's when we truly start seeing what the season will be like.

Some real weird moves. Sams whole reign and reasoning for anything makes no sense at all. She's done a complete "heel turn" lol. And Faysal with the veto was messed up. There literally was 0 reason to even be in the comp, let alone win it. The editing was great on that whole "friendship triangle".

                        Still, it makes no sense.
Hayleigh-I don't want you(Faysal) to win the veto and get stressed having to choose between the two of us.
Kaitlyn-I don't want you(Faysal) to win the veto and get stressed having to choose between the two of us.
                        Faysal-Don't worry, pick me.

Faysal-I don't know what to do. This is stressing me out!

Then Sam does the same thing they did and is all over him. She just can't use her looks because she smokes and drinks too much. Faysal is also using his looks.

He really screwed up by not telling Kaitlyn he has feelings for Hayleigh. She may have understood, but now he is screwed. She trusted him and he broke that.

Sam may be more hated than Brett now.

Not sure about the lasting power of the season. There still is 0 show time for the 6 alliance side of the house.

Couldn't stand Rachel showing up and the other Rachel wants to be just like her and was copying her mannerisms.

BB casted ANOTHER vegas entertaining named Rachel. What do you expect?

I hate how much people seem to love Rachel(both the BB12/13 one and this seasons one). She wasn't good in BB12 and people hated her because of how annoying she was. And in BB13 it was the most blatant production interference season ever.

She walked in on them kissing under the covers way back and that is what ultimately allowed Tyler to talk her into flipping and voting out Steve.

She's known he has feelings for her for a while, he just also has feelings for Kaitlyn too, he also tried to showmance Angela before feeds went live but she wasn't interested.

Fessy is the entire reason that side of the house lost the numbers week 1, if Kaitlyn doesn't walk in on them kissing under the covers she doesn't flip and vote Steve out, Sam would already be gone and the game would be very different.
