Saw someone on Twitter say that Drax is about to be the only one that doesn't come back to life in Avengers 4 lol.

According to his tweet, I'd say he is more than okay with that. It sounds like he really wants out of his contract, and his PR people must have okay'ed that idea I guess.

He'll still get roles in different places.

History is filled with family members and friends that vouched for somebody because "i know him and he would never do that" or "he's a totally different person now". They almost always end up looking foolish.

Smh. Never said that or implied that; was more so saying that enforcing spoilers that far down the road might open a can of worms when it comes to other threads. But by all means, continue moving along in continuity movie threads when every single person on the face of the earth have seen the previous movies (except you) and expecting spoilers....

Yeah, that's what makes it tougher. I get that comedians make off color jokes, but that was pushing even that line (the pedo stuff). Personally I'd have just let it wash over and not fire him anyways, but I get why they fired him too.

Personally I can laugh at Helen Keller jokes, and at our wedding we used a joke "Why did Sally fall off the swings? Because she had no arms. Knock knock Who's there? Not Sally!" just between my wife and I to make us smile for the insane amount of pictures (my fake smile sucks, but that joke is so horrible yet funny). We would just whisper "Not Sally" during pictures and we'd both want to laugh

I'm not a public figure though, and even then that's in poor taste but isn't really about anything illegal (like pedo or rape), so it's really tough to defend. I think if it was not quite as targeted in those areas people would have brushed it off.

You and Batman can SYHs all you want. This is a thread about James Gunn and spoilers about other movies don't have any place in here in my opinion. You certainly implied that it was more my fault because I haven't seen the movie as of yet versus someone who brought a spoiler in on a movie that really isn't that old, despite its popularity.

If somebody has avoided every single spoiler from April 27th to here, then kudos to them.

As for myself, I'm going to openly discuss the movie without tags, because like Shiz said the movie has been out for over 3 months, and is now going through home release.

And since Guardians 3 is a movie directly affected by Infinity War, the tweet still applies.

But then again, I forgot it's illegal on OS to discuss anything in a thread other than specifically what that thread is about. I learned that the hard way.

I tend to think I know what I mean when I say/type things regardless of you thinking your own movie experience means anything at all to me. I assumed someone would eventually say something about the movie and they did and *shrug*. If it's a spoiler for you, that sucks. But let's be real, man; if you were that concerned about avoiding spoilers you wouldn't have continued to post in the IW thread after the movie was released. Dammit, now here I am telling you how you think.... SOHs....



And just in case there's still confusion

I think I may have caused a tiny commotion and misunderstanding of the proper use of the spoiler tags in this forum, so let me clear it up (and publicly state that I was wrong in the Flash/Arrow threads for what I stated, and am extremely sorry for pointing out the incorrect use of spoiler tags).



THEATRICAL RELEASE MOVIES - Spoiler tags until the Monday after release. If a movie releases on a Thursday/Friday, please wait until Monday morning before not using spoiler tags.

I know you guys are gonna support each other around here and justify something that is typically thought of as not cool, but, hey, I'm not in the fraternity.

I'll know better to just avoid these threads, though thought we were talking about Gunn, Disney and the other players' actions in here, not the Avengers movie. Silly me.

The forum has very specific parameters for spoilers, and we're WAY passed said parameters.
