Great episode tonight. Cool to have full episode of just 2040 scenes. Really get to see Mias backstory. No Oliver at all. But they didn't say he's alive or dead....

Re: Arrow (season 7)
I decided to just skip Season 6 and read about the highlights of it online and start with Season 7. I tried several times to get through Season 6 but couldn't get through it. I am glad I did too, because Season 7 to me is already a whole lot better than what I watched from Season 6. Still not up to par from Season 1 and 2, but its better than the last season. Just watched all the ones up till the cross-over event and like where the storyline is going so far. I definitely enjoyed the prison episodes. Those were very well done in my opinion.Comment

Surprised to hear a Spider-Man reference on a DC show. "With great power comes great responsibility"Attached Files"If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

I'm sort of glad this show is ending, I did not find this past episode all that entertaining at all.Comment

Re: Arrow (season 7)
Based on the Dante storyline:
SpoilerI am assuming they are trying to implement the Ninth Circle. The main villain in the rebirth comics of the Green Arrow. Emiko is in that series of comics and plays an important role. If you haven't read that series, I suggest checking it out. It's very good and would like to see the same direction taken in the show. I doubt it'll be exactly the same but it's possible they could include the Ninth Circle as the main villain the rest of the season.Comment

Re: Arrow (season 7)
I think I am one of the few who also enjoyed this episode. I personally like the older William (better than the younger William) and also Mia. I thought it was a good episode. I think many people are forgetting that Stephen Amell asked to spend more time with his family, so maybe that's why there was an episode with him not in it. So I thought they handled the episode very well with the characters they have.

Spend more time with his family?
Didn't they just take a long hiatus off?Comment

Re: Arrow (season 7)
Maybe from the show being actually shown on TV, but I am pretty sure they still work on filming episodes. He has stated multiple times that his production schedule is crazy. He has to get up around 3-4 am and then most days isn't done with filming until later that night. I am sure that puts a toll on someone, especially someone who wants to raise his daughter. Cant fault the guy for wanting to take some time off and spend time with his family.Comment

Re: Arrow (season 7)
She's actually gone before the final season? I read that thinking she just meant after 7 seasons it's time to wrap things up(with a final set of episodes, aka half of s8).
Final set of episodes better just be about Oliver and nothing else. Wonder how they explain Felicity leaving.Comment

Re: Arrow (season 7)
Getting paid is a reason. She isn't a great actress, so unless she has something lined up, it may not be smart.
Reading the article, she was just supposed to be in 1 episode. To think if they just cast someone else or just had her for 1 episode, seasons wouldn't have been ruined because of a stupid romance story to keep her on the show.

Original felicity was great. She had the best comedic moments throughout, and relationship with Oliver was a bonus.
If not for her, Oliver would've ended up with Laurel. Sure that's how it was supposed to be, but you know even that decision would probably get bashed. He ends up with his dead best friends ex. The girl he cheated on with her sister who died but not really, but later did, but came back. And then she joins team Arrow, not as an original member and we eventually get the relationship drama associated with virtually every show ever made, but especially with CW shows.
Arrowverse shows just can't get relationships to work so well. Look how much people hated Iris. "We are the flash.". Barry and Iris were always gonna end up together, but despite that, people still hated relationship at times. And supergirl where they felt need to make Kara reliant on relationships the first 2 seasons.Comment
