No kidding, I had to hit pause and recover, not really sure I could go on. Funny thing I didn't know I even reacted to it. Yes, probably the best ever!!!

Yep lol. My girlfriend and I also paused and took like a 5 minute break to recover (and also calm down our puppy who we scared the **** out of)

Been watching this at night after my wife is in bed. 5 episodes in and it's awesome. I've figured a couple of things out quickly but I'm really intrigued by the cause of a lot of the stuff going on.

I enjoyed the finale, but felt there was a little too much "happy ending" feeling at the end. Considering the events of the other episodes I suppose that's a fair resolution, however. The tone changes fairly dramatically to me.

Hey, I'm here for the discussion more that the "I liked it/I hate it", so what were the couple of things you figured out? I haven't had a show that I've put so much thought into. I'm still trying to figure out the whole reason for existence of the Hill House to its roots.

I thought the last episode made the whole season.
I thought it brought it all together and answered everything.
I am curious, why do you think it was a let down?
It was one of my favorite finales ever.

I'm through episode 7 now, so still a few to go. But the things I figured out were all about Nellie

I don't know how obvious this was (probably very), but it made sense early that Nellie hung herself when everyone woke up at 12/1/2:03 gasping for air. I kind of figured from there that she actually was the Bent Neck Lady and there was some other dimension that she was traveling through. Kind of like the Upside Down from Stranger Things.

I still have a lot of questions and some theories, but I don't know how confident I am in them.

It was one of my favorite finales ever.

Quite simply.....I thought the answers were lame. The show was fantastic.....and the payoff was really a major letdown for me.

No it doesn't. I was trying to facilitate the discussion toward the discoveries and theories. My understandings and theories are all over the place and incomplete wit zero confidence in them. So...

I thought the gasping at the same time was fairly on the nose, but I didn't guess the identity of the Bent-Neck Lady initially. My first theory was the mom with one of the sisters being second.

OK then, it all made total sense to me after the last episode.
You may need to rewatch it.
As the post says above this one, what questions were not answered?
