I grew up with him to only I was born in 89 and I didn't known that the show started way before I was born un till years later like just a few years ago lol. The documentary they did on him I think just last year was really good. I learned a lot of things from that I didn't known.

That's me. I was born in 1989 as well and I watched Mr. Rogers Neighborhood almost every day when I was growing up.

PBS used to be so cool growing up. It had everything.

Arthur, Mr.Rogers, Seasame Street, all of it.

How often do you get an American treasure portray another American treasure? Just give them all the Oscars.

That trailer was amazing, I’m a ball of mess watching that especially the end. What will two hours do to me?

I guess Eddie Murphy turned the role down.

But Hanks is capable too. Back in the 70's I was all about PBS Monday to Friday, it was the only place I could get kid programming outside of Saturday mornings. Wish some one would do a Captain Kangaroo movie

I'm 47...I miss the pre-social media / internet world. This movie will remind of us a lifetime that once was. I'm impressed, and just the trailer grabs your heartstrings.

Didn't watch the show growing up, but I know his mannerisms within the show, and that trailer encapsulated all of it wonderfully.

Looks like a great film to watch regardless.
