    Re: Disney+

I never realized that the upcoming Disney movie Turning Red takes place in Toronto. Sure, it's an animated movie, but still cool to see.

Usually Toronto is just used as a filming location for other movies and shows, and you almost never see the actual city landmarks used for anything as they usually just use the city to pass off as NY or somewhere else.

This was a charming movie. Would love to see a sequel.

Marvel Netflix shows leave Netflix 3/1. On D+ 3/16, in only Canada, for now at least.

            Canadian Disney plus is weird.

They can get shows before the US does, but current shows that don't air on a Canadian network anymore (but air on US networks) get uploaded to Disney plus on a few weeks delay.

Watching it right now for first time got about 30 minutes left like the movie so far.

I just watched Encanto. Visually delightful and a toe-tapper, themes were okay and Mirabel, Dolores, and Bruno were great characters. The story lacked any real emotional weight or punch for me though.

Thought those shows were great but how many times can you watch them?

Wife rewatches Daredevil occasionally, so she was pretty bummed at the initial headlines of them being delisted.

I'm a big fan of aspects of some of the others. Luke Cage in particular, the music was amazing, as was every sincle scene w/ Mahershala Ali.

I hope Daredevil and the Punisher end up on Disney plus in the US.

The Punisher is one of the best shows I've ever on netflix but it might be a bit too hard core for Disney plus.

No way the Netflix Marvel shows end up on Disney+ because of their mature content. Maybe Hulu since Disney owns it too?

In the US they'd likely go to Hulu, in other regions they have the 'Star' branding for other/mature content.

Marvel just confirmed that all the Netflix shows (and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) WILL be on Disney+ starting March 16th.

Yup, in addition to additional parental controls for TV-MA content.
