Reviewed a trailer, he also didn't like Moon Knight and Doctor Strange, so most of our tastes likely don't align with his. I'll watch the show for what it is - another entry in the MCU which I am very invested in and enjoy - and come to my own conclusions once it's actually released.

Re: Disney+
Out of the marvel shows the only one I really thought was good was loki. I think the marvel shows have been a let down and much worse than the movies.Comment

Was not expecting much from the chip and deal Rescue Rangers new movie thought it was going to suck but I am watching it right now and I am happy to say about 54 minutes into the movie that the movie is actually pretty darn good.Comment

Re: Disney+
Decided I'd check out some movies I haven't seen before on Disney + like Onward (which released right before everything shut down) and Turning Red (only because of the Toronto references).
Onward was a nice movie. I think that movie would've been funnier to watch if you actually had Chris Pratt and Tom Holland in a live action version rather than voicing characters. Overall it was good, and I get the whole point was about "the journey" more than anything, but I still felt disappointed that after everything, the ending of the movie hadSpoilerThat kid not meeting his dad, but just got to see his brother interact with their dad for a few seconds before the spell wore off. It felt like the movie was building to that moment the entire time just to not have that moment.
Turning Red wasn't as good to me. I wouldn't have watched it if not for all those little Toronto references in it (everything from the Skydome to the transit systems, to convenient stores and all other things were cool to see), but the movie wasn't anything special to me.Comment

New Dr. Strange movie is on the platform now.
It's a good movie with some out-of-LF humor.Last edited by Speedy; 07-02-2022, 10:03 PM.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: Disney+
Why is no one talking about Ms. Marvel?
The show ended up being great, and I was so upset when I found out episode 6 was the last one, ended so good, even the post-credit sceneSpoilerLeaving to The Marvel's Movie with Brie Larson showing up
This should have easily been 10 episodes and I would have watched all 10.Last edited by Behindshadows; 07-14-2022, 09:03 PM.Comment

Re: Disney+
It was Shang Chi-esque to me. When Shang-Chi was a Jackie Chan movie for the first half or so, I loved it. When Ms Marvel was a coming of age story with her friends and family, I loved it. When they turned into Marvel stuff, they fell off for me. But with the way this ended (the conversation with her and Bruno), and if the plot leak (namely the post credit scene) for BP2 is real, things are about to start turning up.
Iman Vellani (Kamala) also did an AMA on /r/MarvelStudios earlier today. Hard not to root for her, she seems cool.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: Disney+
Ms. Marvel started out pretty strong especially with the tone/editing, then petered a bit by the end with a bunch of silly plot holes and such, but ultimately it was okay.
EDIT: It bugged me that they called baseballs "softballs" though, lol.Last edited by Blzer; 07-17-2022, 03:28 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: Disney+
So I watched the finale today and She-Hulk felt like one giant middle finger to MCU fans. Like it seriously felt antagonistic towards it's own audience.PS: You guys are great.
