Re: Disney+
This is Disney, right?

Re: Disney+
Not a bad finale. I don't see a need for another season. That's one thing I think should be the case. Stick to 1 season, have a movie or something after to extend it for the most.
Spoiler
I liked the new suit. Good combination of Captain America and Falcon. Funny how they got the "Captain Falcon" line in there too from a reporter.
Probably just me, but the Power Broker part I never thought of as a major part of the series. But seems like the reveal and all that ended up being a big shock.
Does all this mean Sharon will be the main villain for "Captain Falcon" if and when they have a new movie?

Re: Disney+
I know that movies are where they rake in the big dough, but for my taste, if it had to be one or the other, I would 100% prefer another season of the show instead of a movie.
A movie has to be like 75% action to satisfy audiences world wide, and what for me is the heart of the show, the personal struggles and the character interaction and development would be a minor part of the film. I know that the movie will still be super great, but most likely nowhere close to the series for me.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

SpoilerI thought she was pretty awful. I expect she's going to end up being a Skrull in Secret Invasion (which should be an entire phase of the MCU, not relegated to a TV series - basically some people in the MCU will end up being revealed as having been replaced by Skrulls for a surprising period of time), or part of the bad guy faction in Armor Wars - which should have War Machine going around and combating/rounding up Stark Tech that's been over-distributed, stolen.
Yeah I thought the same. I was surprised that the character, Val was introduced so late on in the series and had what 3-4 minutes screen time total? Such a big tv personality to have such a bit part to play.
However,SpoilerI checked Wiki and it says she reprises this role in BlackWidowSpoilerI believe she would have appeared there first, if it weren't for the COVID delays. Probably similar to her role in this show... show up and recruit the Taskmaster for what everyone expects to be the Thunderbolts bad guy team.
One person easy to overlook in this series, we met another future member of the Young Avengers
SpoilerIsaiah's son is Patriot.

Re: Disney+
I read a spoiler today for what the finale's mid-credit scene was SUPPOSED to be, and man it was a doozy.
Possible major Spider-Man 3 spoilers ahead, so click at your own judgement.
SpoilerThe scene still started with Sharon selling the secrets and all that, then the shot was going to change to who she was speaking to, and when that person hangs up, the camera pans out to show Norman Osborn, played by Willem Dafoe. He's standing in front of something glowing green, and says "And so it begins", and the next shot is the Oscorp Building, aka the former Avengers Tower. Apparently part of the reason they cut it was to save that reveal for Spider-Man 3.Boston Red Sox

Re: Disney+
I am at season 31 of The Simpson and I realized something. It really is a great show. I'm 35 so I grew up with, and out grew, the Simpsons as I got older. I got more into adultish animation like Family Guy, Futurama, American Dad and South Park. Even now I enjoy Rick and Morty, Big Mouth and Paradise PD. The Simpsons were kiddie. The Simpsons quality does dip around season 15 or so but it's never bad.
And now on season 31 watching with my kids I realize just how smart and witty the show is. I contrast that with a show like Family Guy and South Park now and its Simpsons by a mile. Not only that but Simpsons is written so well that me, my 12 year old son, and my 4 year old daughter can watch and laugh at family appropriate stuff. I have a new found appreciation for the show now.

Re: Disney+
A coworker of mine gave me her Disney+ login information so the wife and I binged WandaVision over the past three nights.
SpoilerI think the part I enjoyed the most was the premise of the first 5 or 6 episodes with the sitcom format. The performances were great and the narrative was probably one of the the better arcs in the Marvel-cinematic verse, but I feel mostly neutral about the whole series.
I understand and to some degree empathize with Wanda and her grief, but I still can't get over her taking a whole town hostage. Much less her flippantly saying at the end, "they hate me" before flying away from accountability and responsibility. Plus, where were the other Marvel superheroes that either should have known about this or could have done something about it? Maybe they'll address this in another series/movie, but for now it just felt off to me.
Much props to Kathryn Hahn, though. She's my MVP of the show. Great turn at a villain and obviously pulling off the sitcom shenanigans like she's done previously on Parks & Rec. The character itself was OK - another one dimensional villain from Marvel that we've gotten used to outside of Loki and Thanos.
Anyway - certainly an enjoyable series and an interesting premise with solid performances from a solid cast. It just didn't click with me or hit a grand-slam like it did with so many others.

Re: Disney+
Yeah I seen it. More a teen show but it definitely deals with the coach player relationship and how the coach deals with coaching girls after teaching college men his whole career.
If you like shows where the coach is the headliner then give it a shot but i do recommend a much better show about coaching and that’s Ted Lasso on Apple +
