Holy **** x men. That was EPIC AF.

MCU can’t **** up the x men. They can come back with a vengeance if they handle it properly like this show does.

Totally surpassed my expectations, 10/10 for me for the first season.

The Acolyte premiered last night, 2 episodes. It is alright so far. Diverse cast so the show is already getting review bombed. Storyline so far has similarities with Ashoka show.

I’m looking forward to this series. I don’t have much knowledge of the era it’s set in, so excited to see how it goes.

8 episodes, hopefully they can lay a good foundation because this could be a good starting point for another series or spin-off to continue to flesh out less explored eras.

It takes place near the end of the High Republic era, aka the golden era of the jedi era. About 100 years before The Phantom Menace movie. Yodi is 777 years old during this show. It basically going to show how the Sith rose in power and became a major force in the universe.

Enjoyed the first couple of episodes. Looking forward to more.

Wondering if we've already met the master, since that's the usual story mechanism for a mystery like this, yeah?

Tend to enjoy Star Wars a lot more the further it is from the Skywalker storylines, Ahsoka being a rare exception.

Looks like S2 of Goosebumps will be taking place in January (as opposed to the expected October premiere which would've made sense for obvious reasons).

In the end it won't matter beyond the initial airing because next Halloween people could watch it anyways again so who cares if it came out in January.

It's still so funny to me that David Schwimmer is gonna be starring in S2(which has no connection to S1) when I said from the start that the guy from S1 reminded me of Schwimmer. Maybe they tried getting him in S1 and couldn't make things work so they got him for S2.

Haven't seen much of his work outside of Friends, but hoping his character is the deranged Ross in a horror show setting everyone always joked about, but he also did a good job playing Robert Kardashian in the OJ series too.

Disney channel shutting down in Spain after 27 years.

I could see this also happening in more places too. No need really for a Disney channel when their target demo is all about streaming on phones/computers and so on, and there's literally a streaming service that has all Disney stuff already.

We'll definitely see this shift happening faster and faster globally with networks shutting down/even more emphasis on streaming.

Don't know if it's an intentional Friends reference on Goosebumps, but one of the characters dad is named "Joe the 3rd" which they're making fun of for being "Joe Jr Jr" (on Friends Phoebes brother talked about naming his kid "Frank Jr Jr")

Im actually liking the 2nd season. It's got more of the horror going than the first season did.

2nd season is definitely more of a horror one than the first.

The first felt way more story driven which I didn't have an issue with either, I loved the mystery and the stuff with Slappy (although I felt the end was a bit anti climactic)

I'm only 2 episodes in so far and I definitely feel like Ross' freaking out moments on Friends was more David Schwimers acting and less about the actual character being crazy. Him freaking out in the early part of that 2nd episode felt so much like Ross when he gets mad.

                          Disney cancels their Goosebumps series.

I definitely think they set it up to fail. How/why would you air a show like this in January? September-October is the time you air this kind of show.

Nobody is thinking "I want to watch a scary show" once Christmas is over.
