Late Night with the Devil has a shockingly high rating for now. I might give it a chance. Generally, I haven't watched a good horror movie in ages. Although this one is referred to as horror comedy in some sources (which makes me not want to watch it).

I absolutely loved it and I'm not a big fan of 'Possession' horror movies.

It is a bit predictable - as most Possession movies are after the original Exorcist - but has an intensity and sense of foreboding doom that most lack.

Gonna watch it again next week.

That one was a little too out there and I loved 'Dead Alive.' (Which is very similar in many ways, IMO.) [emoji1]

I thought another Shudder exclusive, Suitable Flesh, was really good. It was nice to see Heather Graham playing a hot Cougar lusting after a younger man.

Usually the roles are reversed especially in Horror when it comes to that trope/cliché.

Talk to Me on Paramount+ (I think it was) was REALLY surprisingly amazingly good. I'm going to watch again soon with my wife.

Thanks for letting me know it's on there. I saw a pre-screening last summer and it left an impression on me, but I wasn't floored by it and want to be. I think the first scene felt do low-budget that it took me out of some of the other experiential moments, but I agree that I absolutely enjoyed the film.

Yes, I watched it tonight. I thought it was pretty good and can't wait to see it again.

I love all the Horror movies releasing throughout the Spring. Just an absolute butt load of Horror flicks to watch and enjoy.

I saw Abigail last night and wasn't disappointed. Not as good as Ready or Not, but still a fun, bloody good time, IMO.

Late Night With the Devil is also on my list. It wasn't showing in my area at convenient showtimes when I learned of its name.

I saw Night Swim in theater. I enjoyed that there was a baseball background to cling onto and the family was fine, but the premise never gave me enough to chew on and the movie felt longer than it was. I won't see it again.

Just saw Abigail and enjoyed it.

However, as someone who didn't see the trailer I was informed of the premise, and wish I hadn't been. This is a film that is made with the mindset that you don't know the premise beforehand, so the first 45 minutes or so were just leaving me with a big bout of dramatic irony. I can't blame the film though, just marketing.

Thankfully, the characters were fun to watch leading up to it. Unlike Insidious: The Red Door, which had the same problem, but it was a problem in the filmmaking (because they should assume anyone has watched the previous films leading up to it) and the characters weren't engaging enough meanwhile.

I watched it just now and was incredibly creeped out by the amount of spiders just chilling in a hallway. Then the big f*cking spider just hanging out in front of the car. All kinds of NOPE. This reminded me though of REC just with a spider infestation instead of a rabies outbreak.
