I'm glad that that they are focusing more screen time on actual gameplay instead of, "Hey guys, who wants to see my HOH room?" Hopefully that continues.

Re: Big Brother 22: All Stars
The scripted veto and nomination ceremony lines should be gone. As should the "previously on big Brother" recap. BB has the longest recap of any show I've ever watched. I always skip it, but that's like 2 or 3 minutes of the show wasted right there.
As much as I hate seeing Janelle and Kaysar leave, part of me just wants to get it over with so we can start seeing everyone play again instead of having literally only 2 moves lined up for a month now.
But it amuses me how they view Kaysar, someone who never made jury, as a bigger threat than Nicole, a former winner. Goes to show how weak some players are if you've made it to the end and/or won, yet get viewed as a lesser threat.
I'm starting to believe the rumors that she was trying to out people before the season began because of pregame alliances.Comment

Re: Big Brother 22: All Stars
Drives me mad when they start a new HoH comp with like 5 minutes left. The only comp that will end quickly is the true or false competition.Comment

Re: Big Brother 22: All Stars
And even the trivia comps don't always end in time anymore.
By time TV viewers find out who won HOH, live feeders know who won veto and if it's used.Comment

Re: Big Brother 22: All Stars
He's so bad that 2 people who want to keep him in the house because of his race don't want him there any more.
Getting rid of Janelle was stupid. She's never won and now she can't win any comps. Sure she was good before, but that was long ago. Most of these people are not playing allstar level games.

Janelle would've won comps eventually, just not these new school ones. Trivia and those kinds I think she'd do well on.Comment

Re: Big Brother 22: All Stars
I've looked around online and people keep bringing up how broken BB has become with the big alliance running the whole game season after season after season (aka new school BB).
Sad part, I've read many people ideas on how BB could be fixed, but none seem to really work at killing the big alliances.
Anyone have any other ideas?
And on a diff note, you can't tell me theres no pre game alliances. Kaysar has never made jury. He's never dominated a season. But he's considered the 2nd biggest threat of the season? Dani and Nicole are friends, Nicole and Cody are friends, Memphis and Cody supposedly brought together by Dan and Derrick. Naturally they'd all be in an alliance. It's what screwed Yul and others on Survivor. He's living his life, not staying in the reality show bubble.Last edited by Majingir; 09-01-2020, 06:34 PM.Comment

It would get very interesting votes as I'm sure larger alliances would try to split the vote, but that would be hard.

Re: Big Brother 22: All Stars
Even that I feel like it would make thing even worse. Modern BB has way more unanimous votes than other seasons. Alliances would plan it out for specific people to play in the comp.
And with BB as predictable as it is, I'm sure players can even plan for certain comps, knowing when they usually happen.
Maybe hidden immunity idols aren't the worst things lol. Or the coup d'etat. Gives these HGs with no chance a chance to idol out the person they're sitting next to.Comment

Re: Big Brother 22: All Stars
I would like to see the Veto competition be altered to spice up the game.
Still have 6 players. All competitions are games where you strive to have the best time.
Don't reveal the winner on Wednesday.
I'd like the winner to revealed by Julie on Thursday right when they are going to vote. That way it would have countless outcomes and hard for the HoH and his alliance to really plan on who's going home ahead of time. You could even have the Veto winner be the person who not only uses the Veto to save someone, they also make the replacement decision. This would avoid people from purposely throwing vetos. You would see alliances turn on each other more often I would think.Comment

Re: Big Brother 22: All Stars
Most veto comps have the winner winning the comp infront of everyone so you cant exactly not show who won.
Veto holder should get more power though. I like the rule of veto holder choosing the replacement nominee. Sure it takes power away from the HOH, but HOHs and majority alliance have too much power which is the point of needing a change.
I'd even settle for the veto allowing someone to name their replacement only if the veto is won by a nominee.
And another rule where whoever was nominated can't be nominated in consecutive weeks (at least until the jury stage of the game). So if someone takes themselves off the block, they still can't be nominated the next week. Either that, or say that whoever is on slop can't be nominated, or whoever is nominated won't be on slop. No targeting HGs by putting them on slop and the block.Comment

Re: Big Brother 22: All Stars
As if we needed further proof at how crazy some HGs are.
Janelle showed everyone the invitation to Nicole's wedding. A destination wedding (guess they're still planning on having it during the pandemic) and to top it off...guests are required to pay 3K for the hotel, for a 3 night stay! And airfare isn't included. Are the guests all staying at their own lakeside cottage or something lol.
You're telling me that someone who has made well over 600k from CBS reality shows and lives in some small town needs to bill her guests to cover her overly expensive wedding?
Julie called it from day 1. Bridezilla.
I liked her on S16 and even 18 despite people starting to turn on her then. But now she's probably my least fave HG of this season. I'd rather David win over her just for the laughs.Last edited by Majingir; 09-02-2020, 07:42 AM.Comment

I can't stand all the talk about making big moves from the HOH and then see them do exactly what the alliance wants to get out someone that is really no threat.

Re: Big Brother 22: All Stars
I guess she gets to save +$3,000. Does Nicole have any income? Does she really make money doing whatever? I guess everyone she knows has money to burn on her wedding. Then she will want gifts. Maybe CBS is going to pay for it.

Every season it's the same.
"We need to make a big move. I don't want to get any blood on my hand. I need a pawn, but pawns go home."
All leading to the least threatening person going up.
In what world is Kaysar who has never made jury and has nobody aligned with him a bigger threat than literally anyone else right now?Comment
