When Mike played his idol for Maryanne I really wish there would have been a scenario where Maryanne then played hers to save someone. I know at that point though she had no reason to save anyone except maybe Romeo since she could beat him.

That felt cruel to Lindsey when he did that. They knew she was going out, for him to step out and play it when he knew Maryane was safe.. ouch

He did it because he promised, so it would have hurt his game. She could have gone home if someone switched. The main issue was Lindsey didn't want to work with anyone else.

Didn't like the ending and can't believe Johnathan didn't win that last immunity. Romeo is the type of person I want nowhere near the game. He even flat out said he wasn't there to win but to grow as a person or something like that. Can't stand those people who just want to be on tv.

I thought Maryanne got dragged to the end, not a terrible winner but not good. She made it through because the season was good and had a lot of good battles after the merge. If the strong people get voted out early like normal, she goes after that when she wouldn't be needed. She was ok at best but never had anyone really think of her as a threat.

I was hoping Lindsey or Jonathan would have won.

Thought it was wild how long Jonathan lasted as the clear physical threat. He won that one challenge by himself when they had to call it off due to the rough surf... still in awe from that performance. But he seemed to fall off after the merge, I don’t know if his physical acumen would’ve overcome his weaker social strategy game. Lindsey going head up with him was awesome. Reminded me of Terry vs Aras, but totally different weight classes and she held up. I hope she comes back in the future. I’m sure she’s a fan favorite.

Pre and post merge are completely different worlds. I thought Maryane turned her game on enough without leaving a wake of bodies betrayed, basically a weaker Mike but without the collateral. Which is pretty much how it played out.

I’ve watched enough now that I know the best don’t always win. They usually don’t. I always root for that second tier; solid physically, not an *******, plays the game without being too obvious about it. Still, I can not ever guess the final before it’s shown. And now there’s even crazier twists with advantages and idols.
