This is the first year it's on Disney plus here next day (previously it took about a week after it aired to do so), so I often have just been watching it on there anyways.

Nobody knows the exact date it'll air because rumors say Wednesday, but it makes no sense since Fox already announced their winter shows for Wednesday.

It's weird that they would move it around unless they needed to burn a set number of episodes for some contractual reason with one of the shows. The Simpsons and Family Guy, I think, are up for renewal this year so they may move to Disney+. They already mess around with the schedule and randomly take weeks off, add a show for a week or 2, change times, etc.

Hopefully Bob's doesn't get screwed with this move and the ratings tank. It doesn't have great ratings but it's consistent and a great show.

If anything, they should dump Krapopolis. Its appropriately named, its crap.

Deal or No Deal Island s2 got off to an interesting start.

Didn't see s1, but casting for this show really feels like they cast real people. The gameplay in the first episode showed why. That was such sloppy play and stupid strategy.

Hollywood Squares postponed until next week due to the LA fires.

I wonder if they did it because they feel ratings would be lower because of that or what. Not like it's a live show.

After last week's delay Hollywood Squares premiered tonight.

I was hoping they wouldn't start adding these weird twists and gimmicks to "jazz up a reboot" and I'm glad they didn't. It feels like the previous version we had with Tom Bergeron and Whoppi. Nate Burleson is the host.

Don't know if they have people writing the answers/jokes for the celebs like they had Bruce Villanch do in the prior version (he was great at it), but so far my early impressions are great on this. I would love seeing this as one of those annual summer game shows. You're watching for the entrainment/comedic antics of the squares more than the actual gameplay of the players (in a good way).

I'm surprised it was only one round per game? Could've sworn the old version was almost like a best of 3 between the players. Seems they're making 2 episodes out of the 1 hour timeslot instead of one long episode. Guess they're thinking of syndication more than live show?

It's a one-trick pony but the reality show on TLC about Baylen Dupree, the young woman from West Virginia with Tourrettes, is fascinating.

I hope this doesn't double post because the verification thing got hung up... but I watched the Hunting Party and liked it. I figured it'd be like the Blacklist and it didn't disappoint. It's a shut off your brain kinda show and just let it be a silly 90s nonsense movie done procedurally week to week.

What’s up with the “upcoming” Rhea Seehorn Apple TV+ TV series? After seven months of production with filming wrapping last September the show doesn’t even have a title yet. I guess this secrecy could be a suspense builder but get on with it already. The only other thing we know is that it starts with a 2-season order.

For people who like daytime serials (soaps), Monday CBS and Paramount will debut the first new major American daily since the 1990's with the premier of Beyond The Gates.

That made me curious, so I looked up how many daytime soaps were still airing on network TV - supposedly it's down to 3 (The Young and the Restless*, The Bold and the Beautiful, General Hospital) from a high of 15 (!) in the early 80s.

                          That's surprising but also not.

Most households of today have two working adults which wasn't as common (but still normalized for the most part) by the 80s.

But at the same time, we have more older people today than in the past, so you'd think they'd be watching tv or something, but I guess that's what gameshows are for.

Amazing Race returns for another season.

Given they only seem to do 1 season a year if this year is any indication, I'm surprised they haven't just made it a summer show. Seems like a traveling/competition show might do well during the summer.

I was just reading one of Chuck Lorres recent vanity screens at the end of a George and Mandy episode and I don't know how serious he is, if it was just a throwaway comment but he mentioned working on a script for a Big Bang Theory spinoff. So what do we get, Young Penny or Young Wolowitz show, or maybe an Old Sheldon show?

They teased it a bit on Young Sheldon when they showed younger versions of all the main cast.

I wouldn't mind that instead. Not sure how it would work or if a network would greenlight it, but what if they did a bunch of seasons and each one focused on the backstory of each BBT main character.

One season is all about Young Penny, one is Young Leonard, one is Young Howard, one is Young Raj. Maybe another is Young versions of everyone else (Bernadette, Amy and so on).

Don't know if it works for a network sitcom, but it would feel more like a streaming show where each season is like an arc. None of the seasons technically connect, but each one relates to a different character from when they were young all the way until their introduction on BBT.
