I really liked Star. They bagged on her but I think she was more in tune with the game than anyone gave her credit for. Just a fun player who caused a bit of chaos but wasn’t totally out of it. I thought for a minute she may end up as the 3rd place because she had no chance against the remaining 6 but I’m good with the best being left.

Kyle or Kamilla got this if either one makes the final, but if Joe or Eva is there at the end it will be a serious vote. I’d lean Kyle over the other 3 based off the covert alliance with Kamilla, his ability to sway the vote away from her without being totally found out, and his challenge prowess. Mitch and Shauhin, who hasn’t played a bad game at all and with a good speech could pull votes, seem towards the bottom of the totem pole but none are total deadweight 3rd place like we usually see. This is a strong final group 1 thru 6.

Imo this is my guess as the order most likely to win:
1. Joe
2. Eva
3. Kyle
4. Kamilla
5. Shauhin
6. Mitch
Kyle/Kamilla need Joe and Eva gone to have a shot to win. That, or hope that if you're up against BOTH that people view Joe and Eva's game as so similar that they almost cancel each other out in the final which leads to the 3rd person swooping in and getting the votes for playing a more individual game.
The way things are going right now, I could see the F3 being Eva, Kyle, Shauhin.Last edited by Majingir; 05-08-2025, 04:28 PM.👍 1Comment

It hasn’t been as exciting as the last few, I agree on that. But standing here at the final 6, it’s one of the stronger final groups I can remember. Mitch is the lowman but he’s not a deadweight, just caught outside the in-groups. A lot of strong challenge competitors. Hard to argue with the quality of contestants, but maybe not as exciting as other more dramatic seasons.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

I was disappointed when they took out Mary. She kinda self sabotaged and forced her way out, but man... if Kamilla winning immunity and taking Eva to reward was part of some genius plan to either get Eva out with all her advantages or get her #1 Joe out instead, that would've been an all time play. They had the numbers but Mary was the safe play and kinda ruined it for herself. That was a legit annoying tribal for me, even Jeff talking about breaking up duos, that felt like Kyle and Kamilla's chance, then they just go with Mary blehWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Yeah Mary spiraling and eating the remaining coconuts while also going coco-nuts was that little extra bit that kept the vote on her. She fought all season long but it’s a crapshoot how things will fall going in to a season and she was never able to get a strong footing.
I favor the people who “survive” on Survivor, even if they’re not leading the votes. There’s danger in both positions — being a top dog you have cover for only so long, and of course being on the bottom you’re always scrapping and clawing to anything until you can finally make your move. I still wouldn’t have considered Mary at the final as there’s just too many other stronger players this year, but there’s definitely value in the position she was in if you somehow make it through.
Hear me out on this: Shauhin. He’s going to put on a masterclass at final tribal making his case if he gets there. He’s a debate professor, I mean come on! The two pairs are easy, but Shauhin could really make a case of how he’s allowed those pairs to continue to be pairs by voting with them and keeping himself out of the crosshairs. Just never know how the jury feels and every experience and relationship they had. Shauhin has been super funny, likeable, strategic, good in challenges.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Joe or Eva without even knowing it NEED to win the next immunity or they're both done.
Kyle and Kamilla have Mitch so those 3 are the majority in the F5.
If Joe or Eva wins immunity then the other gets the idol play and they're both safe, which likely just leads to Mitch going.Comment

Kamilla and Kyle could've EASILY voted out Joe! Wasn't this a big reason in voting out Shauhin?
Going in to the final 5 with a 2-2 split but then getting Mitch on your side while Eva plays the idol for herself lets you vote out Joe, then go in to the final 4 with at least a 50% chance of BOTH of Kamilla/Kyle making the finals.
Instead they vote out Mitch and give Joe who has won 4 challenges another shot to win a challenge, or if he loses that immunity, you're now possibly going in to a firemaking challenge with the fire captain.
That was the funniest moment of the season. Eva revealing she's going for her PhD, Kyle saying he's a Lawyer, Joe laying there in disbelief and they ask Joe his secret job and he's like "NOTHING! I'M JUST A __ FIRE CAPTAIN!"
Kyle pulls out the win, I wasn't expecting that.

The Kamilla "I got you" and Kyle dropping that bomb after Eva explained it as their big move is an all-time Survivor moment.Comment

Yeah, that sealed the deal. Like Jeff said, any final thay there’s votes for all 3 is rare. Any other season and Joe or Eva wins, relatively easily. Kyle and Kamila played an incredible game where all their moves worked and their profile wasn’t so raised that they were targeted. I enjoyed the game being transparent and honest, which allowed Kyle and Kamila to pull off that sneak attack. I think this will go down as one of my favorites when it’s all said and done. Reminds me a lot of Wendell’s winning season with Dom and Laurel. Strong, trustworthy alliance of top competitors helps each other get to the final. They all had a shot at it. I appreciated Joe’s final tribal comments that he wasn’t in it to shock & awe the crowd with a big move. That’s all we ever hear in Survivor! So to flip the game and play the game against the precedent that has been set and not have it turned on him, and actually get others on board with that way of playing … I think Joe was the headliner of the season, obviously with Eva as his sidekick/motivation.
I really liked Kyle and I believe he was the best pick to be the winner, but man Joe played a helluva game and Eva turned up all these advantages to where they could’ve weathered a few harsher tribals and still made it through. Some of the strongest cases I’ve seen for a final tribal and yet they all happened in the same season.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

Just saw the S50 lineup. A few questionable picks or decisions like picking 3 people from 1 season is a bit overboard imo but overall pretty damn solid. It’s all pre-S18 and post-S32 contestants which is kinda crazy but I do think the best older schoolers are the earliest seasons. I’m excited for it.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

It's funny how the 20s are also considered old school in a way too now.
It definitely feels like a random cast they got. Some old school names are way out there, like getting the likes of Cirie and Colby (both of which have basically finished their Survivor arcs already) and Ozzy (don't image search him...)
And a heavy emphasis on the new school players too. If you're doing a season revolving around Survivor's history, maybe there should be a more spread out cast. If they just did new era all stars it would make sense to have so many new era players.Comment

Yeah, I saw it suggested that S49 should’ve been a Survivor All Stars season and then S50 could’ve been extra special as you got the real top dogs for that and still gave shine to plenty for S49 all stars. There’s a few winners in the S50 lineup (2 currently, Dee & Kyle) but it looks more like a second chance season to me, which I was a huge fan of. I really liked the S20-early 30s casts where they did that season so maybe that’s a reason why. Plus just schedules and willingness of former contestants. Just because we want some people on doesn’t mean they want to come back. Like I’m shocked there’s no one from S44 (like 4-5 people could’ve come from that season alone) but that’s how it is. Still plenty happy with this group and giving some maybe under the radar names like Tiff a second shot.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
