xbox 360 hopefully on launch day . they are already letting you reserve them? where and how much do you have to put down ?

Both, but if this gen is any indication... the X360 will be collecting dust, eventually.

Here's hoping that's not the case!

why even bother wasteing the money, if you think there's any possible the 360 may get dusty? If this gen is any indication of what?

That's is why I will get only one system and that's Xbox 360. PS3 will not be purchased by me.

I am most likely going to get the PS3 but not right away. I am mainly a sports gamer and I like the direction the Sony sports titles have taken. Not to mention all the other sports games that will come out for the PS3.

The X mostly collects dust, compared to the vast array of different titles for the PS2.

But MS is really pushing things now... Final Fantasy on the X360??

They might be finally understanding games are the key...

I was at the mall on Saturday, and the dude at the Gamestop in Triangle Town Center (for you fellow Carolinians) said 50 bucks.

After seeing the PS3 stuff maybe only Xbox 360. They're just doing the same stuff again: GTA next,Devil May Cry 4,MGS 4,Getaway 3. I'm sick of those now. I didn't even like MGS 3 and I don't get that much fun out of GTA without a cheat device anymore. Tekken 6 is the only sequel I can think of that I'd be looking forward to. If all the multiplatform stuff ends up better on PS3 that'll increase my chances of getting it.

I may be in the minority but I never liked the PS1 or PS2 so I haven't even thought about getting the PS3. I'll be picking up the 360 at launch no doubt, and I'll keep a look out for the Revoloution for the fact that Nintendo has never let me down.

I'm the exact opposite, and that's why I'm rethinking whether or not to buy a PS3 at launch. Online gaming is a big factor in my decision, and let's face it, Sony is clueless when it comes to online integration.

I'm sure I'll still buy it at launch, and just play it when some exclusive title, that appeals to me, comes along once a year.

You aren't alone as far as the ps1 and ps2 are concerned but I don't agree with the revolution thing.

I'd love getting both, and definitely will be getting 360 at launch but it all boils down to my financial situation at the time too.
