What happened with the ps2 and xbox launch have abosolutely nothing to do with the next gen launches. These launches coming up have more games than any other launch. Quality games too. And the Real unbeliavable stuff is here now. At least what I have seen so far my mind is blown away. Spare your self the dissapointment and don't buy anything till 2007 !

Oh no, I should've worded it differently. I think that when people see them they'll be impressed. I mean, there are already some games that are looking on par or much better than the xbox games and they aren't even close to being done.Originally posted by MintsaIt sounds like you know something we don't??Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Launch games are rarely never as good as games that come out a year later, but thats because those games had more time to be developed. Launch games are usually rushed to market for launch and are sometimes glorified tech demos or sequals with a graphical overhaul. Thus why some features are omitted from sports titles and others are not. There are usually a few games that look really nice, but don't play as nice as they look.
First party games are usually the best and its a first party game that is usually the system seller. The developers usually have more time to work on the game and are more familiar with the hardware from the onset. And, since its their console, they have added incentive to make their game good to sell more consoles.
If you're expecting the 360 or PS3 to have three or four A+ titles at launch you'll probably be dissapointed. There should be at least one great game, and if there isn't the launch is probably going to be viewed as a dissapointment. There will probably be a handful of quality titles to back it as well, but the flow of great games usually doesn't come for a year.Comment

Re: Anyone else think...
don't get me wrong, I am really looking forward to X360, and i intend on puttin money down this week for one, but after seeing the difference in product between the 2 the PS3 is looking really good, where MS kind of "over-promised" on the visuals.... so-far.Originally posted by jmood88I doubt that."I'm servin' dudes like Wimbeldon, advantage, 2uce..."

Re: Anyone else think...
I wasn't around much for the previous next-gen e3, but if I remember correctly, alot of the same things were going on. I think most companies are too busy working on the REAL (buyable) games that they don't have much time to code little playable demos to show off. With each new generation, alot more work is going to have to be put into these games because of the technology and coding is going to be much harder. As much as we like to comment on the new stuff, we really cannot until these games are playable. Like I said in an earlier post, all of the companies are doing everything to show up the other. I still can't wait for Oblivion
