      Re: Killzone 2 (PS3)

So I was online last night in a small game, about 8 people, and the game ended. A new one started and I was the only one left in the game. So I figured I check out the map a bit to get accquainted with all the little nuances.

When it ended I got ribbons for completing something (not sure what) but wow, that's cheap.

So basically anyone can play a one player game online and get ribbons? Where's the fun in that? I was a bit bummed but oh well I guess. I'll remember to leave when everyone else does. LOL

What ribbon was it? Maybe you earned when all the players were in the game before they quit. Because I know for sure you can't earn them when you are by yourself. I know because I have played plenty of games by myself.

It was one where you stay alive as the assasination target. There was no one in the game so obviously no one could kill me. It was one of the games that cycles through all the game types every like 5 min or something. I cruised around the map it was on to figure it out easy paths and so forth, when the game ended (again no one at all came into the game) I got the ribbon.

I felt a little cheated. LOL

Got into the top ten% of the week! Apparnetly I'm getting better. I will say though I like the games that have far less people playing. 32 people is just madness but if you get like 16 then you feel everyone has a chance to complete objectives.

All in All this game is great. Hopefully I can get that top 1% soon and get the trophies for that too...

Southern Hills (part of the second DLC) is awesome sniping with 32 people. There's this one spot on the map that overlooks both Spawn points....yeah. I'm not telling where it is either.

Killzone is (almost) Five! – Celebrate with a Double XP Weekend and More

And starting today, Killzone 2 DLC goes on sale on the PlayStation Store — Flash & Thunder is now $2.99 and the Map Pack Bundle is down to $9.99 — until December 10. I hope you’ll join us in celebrating the fifth anniversary of Killzone! In the meantime, I’m going to put on my Top Hits of 2004 album and try to remember how I partied five years ago. Eric out.

I just picked this up. Not sure why I waited so long to do so, but I got it for $20 brand new at a local gamestore so I'm not complaining.

                    Game is AMAZING!

Curious to know if any fellow OS'ers still play this game online.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

I've been playing alot MW2 lately but I want to get that 1% weekly ranking trophy so I'll probably be poppin it in soon and getting back into it for a little while. I just have to buckle down and do it.

Unfortunately that leaves borderlands, FNR4 (post patch), GOW collection, and my newly acquired RB2 to sit and wait...Oh well, it's worth it when it comes to KZ2 online.

Don't forget guys that the 3 DLC map packs are $9.99 till 12/10. I bought the first one when it first released so buying this pack for $9.99 for one I already own sucks. I guess its cheaper since I think one pack was $7.99. Flash & Thunder is $2.99 right now, which makes no sense not to also have the rest at this price.

I see alot of OS'ers got KZ2 during the holidays and wanted to bump this up. I'm gonna be poppin this badboy back into the rotation in a few days to work on the Platinum and need to get a ton of games in online. If we get a big enough group we can set up password protected games for just OS'ers. Or, we can get together and play a bunch of randoms as well.
