Killzone 2 is only a short month away from hitting shelves, but the game will definitely be worth the wait. The single-player experience is a truly enjoyable campaign across the Helghast home world that will test your skills, particularly on the higher difficulty levels, and the game simply looks phenomenal for a console shooter. But perhaps the strongest segment of the game is the extremely deep multiplayer, which gives seven basic classes with which you can create your own customized super-soldier after performing your class-specific duties. Not only did Guerrilla achieve a milestone of delivering a great exclusive title for Sony's PS3, it delivered one of the better shooters to come along in a long time. Get your hands on this game.

The only bad thing about this game is that as soon as you play it, all the other FPS start to look really bad in comparison. It even started happening to me already when playing Resistance 2 the other day.

I can't wait to play KZ2; end of Feb. will be here in no time. My son is due on the same day as release.

I enjoyed the hell out of the first one, when many didn't like it.

resistance 2 is more like an arcade shooter while Killzone 2 is more methodical and slower paced.

Resistance 2 is more Halo like I would say while people that played KZ2, said it was more COD4 like.

if the multiplayer is like cod4 ....that's fine. But if the single player is like COD4, it will suck.

COD4 single plkayer has infinite enemy spawning, no thinking/strategy whatsoever to succeed and ridiculously stupid enemy and teammate AI. It's basically quantity over quality if you ask me.


Another question regarding Killzone 2 multiplayer from me is how many shots will it take down an opponent? like in COD4/5 it takes a realistic amount like 2-3 shots to down a guy, is killzone like that or is it like Halo where you need like 10 bullets to down an enemy ? I'm hoping it's closer to COD series in that regard

I haven't seen a single video for this game. I refuse to have anything ruined for me. You guys are all obsessing over how great this game is going to be and I have no idea what makes it so great LOL. Everything will be a surprise to me when I boot it up for the first time.
