The katana and shopping cart are 2 awesome weapons also.

So far, I live the sledgehammer. Whack, you take out 3-4 zombies at a time.

Cool thing is that depending on how you nail a zombie, you knock off their arms, legs, and parts of their torso and they still move.

where's the kitana? i've gotta find that one

the hanger's kinda cool, you stab it in their mouth or neck and they wander around with it in there...not powerful, but amusing

I can't remember, I found it once out of the 4 times I've played the game so far.

Can the lawn mower be used in the demo?

Go to the restraunt upstairs,go next to the counter,jump over the rail.

anyone know how to use the microwave/toaster thing in the restaurant (not the coffee place)? My run through the demo ran out of time just before trying a baguette in there

mall taken over by zombies...think "State of Emergency" style, but where it doesn't totally suck ***

i don't know much about the storyline, i haven't been paying much attention to this until I downloaded the demo today, now i'll probably rent it

Update:

There are a few references to Resident Evil, that I have noticed in the demo version so far. Maybe Dead Rising is an Umbrella Experiement in a mall environment.

I would sh*t my pants if one of the multiple endings involved Umbrella Corp. LOL!

1. Homage to Resident Evil that was found in the game:

original RE: You play as Jill and go pinch the shotgun off the wallrack (I think) and the ceiling in the entryway to that room begins to descend... If you wait around til it gets quite low, old Barry comes and boots the door in, afterwards quipping "We coulda had a Jill sandwich" or something similar...


REmake: "any longer and we could've fit you into a sandwich"... or something like that.



2. Ashley from RE4.

That girl from the 1st cutscene when you start the demo looks like older version of Ashley from RE 4.

I saw this guy in a cutscene and then also he was in the screenshots at the end of the game.

Just update the original post or just put the updated info in a post, not the whole post again, I skipped right over it because nothing is different. That and it's spamming the board posting the same post over and over again.

Yeah, that's the outdoor one.

The other 2 are, in the movie theater is a priest sacrificing people and the other one is when you walk down the exit corridor, a dad and his 2 son's are sniping people.

How is that spamming man? I think it's something neat about how the game has Resident Evil marked all over via similar looking characters and stores.

I'm a proponant for keeping OS clean, but must you be the only mod that has to continue to bust my b*lls over something as little as updating the post I had before, but creating a new since that one will get lost. Oh well, thought it was something neat.
