Sony plans a lot of things.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

The PlayStation 2 has something as great as the Emotion Engine, and it can even run Linux, but it's still considered a gaming machineOriginally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Not smart to make the hard drive an add-on again. Sony might want to re-think this, judging by Square-Enix comments.
Tanaka does not commit to the identity of the next generation title, stating that it may be a successor to FFXI, or it may be a completely separate property. He does admit that the mysterious demo clip shown at Microsoft's Xbox 360 E3 press conference was an early look at the game, which is currently in the "research" stage of development.
As for the title's platform, Tanaka is again a bit too shy to talk. He doesn't specifically state that the game is coming to the Xbox 360.
He does, however, state that the PlayStation 3 will probably need a hard disk in order to see Final Fantasy XI-style games, stating he was surprised to hear that Sony is considering not including a hard disk with the system. Character growth still requires a hard disk, explains Tanaka, and this will be the case unless everyone has a fiber optic internet connection (and even if that were the case, server charges associated with storing and transfering gigabytes worth of data would make monthly user fees rise to ten times their current level).Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: PS3...truely a supercomputer?! (link inside)
The PS3 could perform sexual favors on me while gaming, and I'd still buy an Xbox 360 over it because Microsoft has a clear, intelligent, feature-rich online gaming strategy. Sony's online gaming strategy resembles a game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey at a 5-year-old's birthday party.
Take care,

I don't know, if it did sexual favors, I might consider it over the 360.
But since it doesn't my choice will be easy.Comment
