    What he is proposing about defective parts is from a production standpoint. Since you have to factor in a given failure rate of SPEs then why not add one more SPE for redundancy so that all Cell chips are usable and not discarded as defective, thereby wasting money. In theory it can save money. Somewhat like RAID 5 does for servers(when it works).

    What he REALLY needs to do explain is why does the PS3 have THREE ethernet ports.

      Which is why I don't buy games for that sucker anymore. Just HDLoader it and I'm all good. Waiting for Live 06 and NBA 06
