I traded in my XBOX and games and got $130.00. I had MVP 05, NCAA 06, GTA Double Pack, Rainbow Six 3, and FIFA 05. BTW I went to GameCrazy and got store credit hopefully to be used on the 360. Do you think I got fair value?

FIFA- 11.00

MVP- 13.75

NCAA- 22.00

Rainbow Six 3- 5.57

Sega Gt/JSRF(came with the system)- 1.52


I also got an extra 5% because I used my MVP card.

Hmm. I sold my Xbox and some games to a friend and got $300 CDN.

I sold him the Xbox, 4 Controllers, DVD Remote, and 9 games including Forza, PGR2, Madden 05, Live 05, Top Spin, NHL 05, etc.

I personally sell all my stuff privately or through flyers posted in local stores. I get a lot more that way than any gamestore would give me. I'm just about to sell 16 Xbox games for $150. Should help nicely towards my 360 launch expenses. Most of them are old sports titles EB won't take anyways.

I've always felt stores like EB and GS rip you off on trade ins. I'm never selling anything back to them ever again. In the end though, it comes down to if you feel you got a good enough return. Private sales cause more hassle and legwork.

You probably could have done better on eBay, but after they take their fees, you may have netted to the same. So I think you got a good deal.

I think you got a bit taken. I just traded my xbox in too, along with madden 06, winning eleven 8 international, and UFC Tapout 2 and got $137. The only game that i traded in that was really worth anything was Madden. Looking at your list...i think you should've gotten more than i did. But that's just my opinion. I went to gamestop by the way.

No, just the system and games. Gamestop was also running some kind of 40% more on trade-ins if you traded in 3 or more games.
