Yep, except GoW, which will make use of multi-threading (says Cliffy B), but it's not coming out until late next year.

Once devs start making use of multi-threading, we're going to see some truly remarkable games on these consoles. I can't wait to see what's possible when devs start to use all 6 threads of the 360's CPU and really tap into Xenos, and make use of CELL's SPE's and really tap into the RSX, it's going to be insane.

I have no idea what the heck you just said. Will all that power make it so your hero has to eat and pee at regular intervals?

AI is going to be huge for me. Im tired of playing rainbow six, or ghost recon and always coming across the same enemies in the same locations everytime i redo the level. Shooting games would be great if the AI could "actually" adjust to how you are attacking, and make moves on you according to your position, not just run at you all willy nilly guns a balzing.

You need Farcry my friend. After sniping one enemy from a tower, I sat in amazment as 3 other AI all looked in my direction and respectively split up and hid behind whatever cover they could find. One guy scaled a wall facing my direction till he found cover, then I saw him peek out just a tad. That is some AI for you right there.

It means splitting the execution cycle across multiple cores/processors in order to speed up the end result.

Ok, so for instance, in a football game, after the whistle is blown, the game executes 20 diffrent stings of code(ie, commentator lines, making the players idle, crowd decible lowers, initiating a cutscene, etc) there will be diffrent processors handling diffrent functions in order to speed things up. Am I on the right page?

Hell from what we've seen from XBOX, I honestly think that this is a little opinion. Ya'll have to also remember the Microsoft updates their systems which could increase output of some stuff they might have in their systems already. PS3, not so much. And I'm so amazed that I understood what Flawless said in the original post with the multi-threading. I thought NBA 2K6 was going to be doing the multi-threading from what I was seeing. So basically, NBA 2K6 won't be the true next-gen game until a few years from now. The possibilities. I wonder if EA trashed their current-gen bases for the multi-threading?? So many possibilities....
