i've had a certain game for about two days now, got it from gamestop, can anybody tell me what the return policy for games is at this store. i have the receipt for it. do they give you credit or do i just have to just suck it up and trade it in and hope i get half of what i paid for it. any response is greatly appreciated.

What game is it? The normal policy is 30 days unopened on a new game or exchnage for same game if opened. It is really up to the manager since it is open. Perhaps he will be nice and let you exchange it for something of equal or greater value and you pay the difference. If he is not willing to work with you, then try your luck at another GS or EB, depending on where you got it from.

if i cant get full refund, will any other stores let me take it back like walmart, target, ect.

If you can convince them you "lost" the receipt but I pretty much doubt it........

try walmart, tell them you got it as a gift, they may make you get the same game, but then you can take the new one to a different store

Now if you tell them you didn't like it, what exactly are you going to tell them at Walmart?

"Hey, I got this game as a gift, but I don't really like it... can I exchange this here for a new copy of the same game I didn't like?"

Doesn't make much sense now, does it?

Thats Fraud whats this world coming to.

No wonder why the prices are going higher on stuff, are you guys that low.

BTW read the back of your reciept the return policy is there or visit the stores website.

Video Games and CDs bleed fraud. Well the return policies do anyway.
