    PS3 won't have a hard drive?
Negative. Kurtagi doesn't believe in them or something along those lines. Someone can probably help you better on exact quotes better than I can. I'm sure it'll be optional eventually ala the PS2 hard drive, but, we know how that turned out.

I have a question about Xboxlive. When I pay my yearly fee how many online accounts can I create ? I'm thinking only one and thats my problem. I have two kids that like to play online and I wouldn't want them using my ID. Please correct me if I'm wrong I know nothing about the live service. On the other hand with my PS2 I can create multiple accounts for all our games with each one of us having our own ID for FREE ! Oh and I have never had any major issues with getting online, lag or disconnects. I like the way Sony does it.

        It will.

Kutaragi confirmed awhile back that the PS3 HDD will be an add-on, and will run Linux.

I wasn't that high on it to begin with already with the lack of a HDD, but this is the death blow for me. Xbox Live is the greatest thing to happen to gaming in a long time IMO, it totally changed my gaming habits. I'm happy to see MS evolving it even further on the 360. I feel I made the right choice going 360 this time around.

Co-sign. I wasn't high on getting two consoles this time around anyway, but they just let me spend 400 bucks on games. Thanks Sony

So it has it's pluses and minuses. Overall though it's a smart business move.
I'm pretty sure though that the basic online package for the 360 will be free...

So Microsoft keeps they're superb online experience and now EVERYone can use it, at least in its most basic form...

AT&T to Support Xbox 360 MMO Games
By: César A. Berardini - "Cesar"
              Nov. 4th, 2005 1:04 pm
AT&T announced today it has won a $9.5 million, three-year managed hosting contract from Microsoft Game Studios (MGS) to support various online experiences and the infrastructure for massively multiplayer online role-playing games. The online games include the latest for both Windows and the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

Multiplayer online games, where tens of thousands of users play simultaneously from points around the globe, have emerged as one of the most sophisticated, bandwidth-intensive applications on the Internet. Multiplayer games have stringent requirements for real-time communication, dynamic applications and near-100 percent availability and reliability.

"We chose AT&T because of its extensive experience in supporting online gaming companies and their ability to deliver our games globally," said Rick Gauthier, Microsoft Game Studios' Group Operations Manager. "AT&T's offer and design flexibility, 'game specific' customer service, and the performance and reliability of its IP backbone ensure that our customers will have the best online gaming experience possible on Xbox Live or over the Internet. With AT&T managing the system infrastructure, it will allow us to focus our energies on managing our applications and looking at new technologies."

The innovative "Gotham TV" feature of Xbox 360's highly anticipated title Project Gotham Racing 3, and the highly anticipated Games for Windows title Vanguard are two of the MGS online gaming applications that will be hosted at an AT&T Internet Data Center (IDC). AT&T operates 26 IDCs worldwide, and has announced plans to expand to 28 by the end of the year.

Microsoft Corp., the parent company of MGS, is a long-standing AT&T customer for a broad range of voice, data, Internet and managed network services. In June, the two companies announced a strategic alliance to develop, deploy and deliver next-generation IP-based communications services.
