I just played this game for the first time at EB Games and I have to say it is simply amazing! I wasnt even planning on picking it up before but I def am now, by far one of the best shooters i ever played, the AI is really smart and its so pretty to watch.

ok so ONLY 8 players online?????

im only getting one shooter at launch, either PDZ or COD2....

and if its only 8 player XBL, that might be enough to push me to PDZ, even though i have really been looking forawrd to this title

Eric: How any many players are supported for Live play?

Grant: On the box, it says 8 players. We have to take into account the lowest common denominator. Player’s internet connections vary so much. If you have a host, who has a lot of bandwidth and the players also have good bandwidth then you could have 16 or more in those good circumstances.

so the box says 8, but depending on the host, you could have MORE than 16? talk about vague...

Then there's some huge confusion going around out there about it. Because Mark from EGM says he confirmed it with the developers recently that it's only 8 online and he posted that on Gaming Age yesterday.

We'll have to see then.

After playing 64 player on BF2 for the PC anything less than 32 would seem like a ghost town.

If it can be up to 16, then why does every review say 8 and up to 16 using system link. Seems like they would throw in 16 online if a good host.


First disapointing thing I have heard about the game, 8 people. Thats 4 on 4
