Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade Discussion
Originally posted by Splitter77I got Xbox live last year( a free year), but never really used it. Last month the year was up. I was checking my credit card activity and it said I renewed the subscription and it charged me this time. WTF! How do I cancel this garbage? How can they charge me without me renewing it??

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade Discussion
ok, the fight night 3 demo is SICK! You choose a corner, red or blue. I chose Red and I'm roy jones jr, and I'm fighting bernard hopkins, so maybe if you choose blue, you get him? Anyway, the graphics are amazing. There is no HUD showing health or anything like that, so the game seems more like an actual cinematic fight rather than a video game. I knocked B Hop out and his head was laying on the bottom rope and you could just watch his chest go up and down trying to catch his breath. It was amazing looking. There is no cutman in the corner, so the game is obviously not complete, but this is a very good start EA, I am very impressed.
EDIT: Left out a few things, the slow mo camera on the knockdowns is impressive too. Not having the HUD for health is no big deal because when you (or the guy you are fighting) is close to being knocked down, it kinda shifts to a slow mo type thing.Last edited by RockyTop1; 01-05-2006, 03:05 PM.PS4: aBayBates

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade Discussion
I might get flamed for this, but here goes. I dont have the internet at home and have never set up my account that comes with the 360. Never been online o game at all actually. I want the Fight Night demo and figure I could go to my brother's house and hook up my 360 online. Once I log in it will give me the option to purchase the demo? Is that how it works? That easy? Thanks for any help anyone can give.Comment

In the months leading up to the Xbox 360 you had tons of coverage on tons of games... The Outfit, Oblivion, COD 2, Condemned, Gears of War, Frame City Killer, WarDevil, and Demonik, just to name a few. Now that the 360 is out it's all DOA4, COD2, and PDZ... I know you can only get so much info so quickly, but c'mon... you guys helped spark something bigger in me by showing off all the games to come, and now some of them I don't remember the name, or I have completely forgotten about, and despite knowing that 2006 and 2007 will be amazing for gaming, I feel lost. So as a loyal, IGN-exclusive reader, my only request is more game coverage! We know about the 360 controller. We know about the Rev controller. We know 2 out of 3 next-gen are HD. Stop telling us what we know, and get us excited about some games, because that's what it all comes down to anyway!
I'm not sure what coverage you're referring to, but we did take a few days off for the holiday, you know from December 22-January 2. We're human and even a little normal. We needed the freakin' break. I mean, we are caged animals, but they do feed us a little lovely chum once in a while you know, to be nice. We over worked and triple-timed and stayed up all night so many weeks this fall I can't count them anymore. So yes, we took some time off, my friend, and now we're back. And, when there is information on new games for both the Xbox and Xbox 360, we'll have it. Count on it. Like for instance, did you know that tomorrow Microsoft will make a big announcement at CES in Las Vegas? And we know what it is. Want a hint? Count on using that Microsoft Xbox Live Marketplace for more than just downloadable movies, trailers and crumbs. Think big. What else can you downloaded? Second hint: Did you read OXM's cover story on Full Auto? Well, that demo will be available somewhere else too, if you have the Gold membership that is. There you go, Happy New Year.Comment
