Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade Discussion
I can only buy points in 1250 for $18.93 so no way would I buy that. Can go to the local game store and buy the SF collection (used) on Xbox for $10
The problem is people are actually gonna buy the thing so the prices will keep going up and you'll be paying $35 american for Geo Wars 3.Comment

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade Discussion
Quick questions about Live Arcade. Since I don't personally have XBOX Live at my house yet I have a subscription, I take my system over to my cousins'. The other night I took JUST my harddriveover and used his system to access my Live account. I downloaded Bankshot Billiards (paid for full game) yet how come when I put my harddrive back onto my system it is only showing up as the trial and letting giving me access to the full game?Comment

Your screwed, Not only does a purchase save itself to your HD but it saves itself to your manufacture # of his machine. My cousin had the same problem, your going to have to delete those games and create a new xbox live gamertag, and download the games to your 360 with your HD, to be able to play the games at your house.Originally posted by RookQuick questions about Live Arcade. This is microsoft's way to combat piracy, and its pretty effective."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

if you take your actual xbox over there with the harddrive, you should be able to log in to xbox live and it will make your full version availableOriginally posted by USF11Your screwed, Not only does a purchase save itself to your HD but it saves itself to your manufacture # of his machine. Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade Discussion
Thanks for the replies. I was thinking of bringing my XBOX over again because that how I got Geometry Wars on my system. I was just feeling lazy and only brought over the harddrive last time. So since Live Arcade knows I already purchased the game on my account, I can just delete and redownload the game while using my own system at no charge right? Just sucks because high-speed internet isn't even available where I live, damn I need to move! Thanks again.Comment

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade Discussion
This doesnt work, Whatever system & HD you download the game too, is the only system HD combo you play the full version of the game on. Like I said my cousin wasted almost $50 dollars downloading games with his HD on my 360.Originally posted by dagger55if you take your actual xbox over there with the harddrive, you should be able to log in to xbox live and it will make your full version available"Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

I downloaded Bank Shot Billards: pretty fun game too. I like doing the trick shots. Also, the FN3 ring girls theme is pretty nice. :wink:My Fan Page http://theusualgamer.net/MyFanPage_Heelfan71.aspx

Re: Xbox Live Marketplace and Live Arcade Discussion
So you're saying that I'd have to repurchase the Billiards game for it to work on my system? Boy am I glad I brought the system to his house for the other games I downloaded. My luck it would have to happen with the most expensive one though. lol.Originally posted by USF11This doesnt work, Whatever system & HD you download the game too, is the only system HD combo you play the full version of the game on. To heelfan, I downloaded that theme as well and it perked my XBox right up. I am afraid though that those pictures might cause it to run a little extra "warm" from now on :PComment

i believe you are incorrect.Originally posted by USF11This doesnt work, Whatever system & HD you download the game too, is the only system HD combo you play the full version of the game on. Like I said my cousin wasted almost $50 dollars downloading games with his HD on my 360.
MS said thay the track the downloads to a Xbox Live name, not an individual system like they did with the original xbox. MS did this because they envisioned people buying bigger HD's in the future, and that will allow them to redownload those games without paying for them again.
Also, MS used this idea so if people have to send their systems back and get new ones, they can still redownload those games without paying for them.
He should be able to take his system over there, and download the full version and it be playable on his system without paying for it.Comment
