I am really looking forward to the BF2:MC demo. Does anyone know if it will be SP or MP?

Anyone else think it would be cool if you could wager/win marketplace points in the Texas Hold 'Em tournaments.

That's what they did with the outfit.. MP only... and yes, it was kind of stupid, BUT EA/DICE were making this more for online anyways.

Yea and it didn't do The Outfit any favors,that's why it's stupid. Single AND multi is fine like Quake 4 espcially when silver members get to play too but multi only where sliver players can't play,not cool.

I wish they'd put both a SP demo (for silver folks) and a MP demo for gold folks. I really think that Blazing Angels would have sold more copies if they'd put up a multiplayer demo instead of the single player demo, and I think that if EA puts out just a MP demo for BF2, they'll sell more games for the 360. I really wish there were some way they could allow silver folks to play demos on live since that would be a great selling point for XBL gold.

That's a VERY SMART Business idea.
To bad the developers won't do that... too much extra work for them.
BUT, in theory they could have a demo that has both in it and the only way to play MP would be to have the Gold Service. it would make that much more tempting after playing sinlge player to want too click the "XBOX LIVE" link.

Very smart idea Candy. I hope that there's some people in MS that are thinking the same way.

Xbox Advanced Technology Group director Scott Henson spoke about a number of possible changes in the Xbox360 software in an online interview with T3. He’s not willing to name specifics at this time, but he said the improvements are likely to be based on user requests.

Top user requests include upgrades to the music player and support for streaming movie and music playback from all PCs, rather than just those running Microsoft’s Windows Media Centre software.

Another possibility is that downloads can be run in the background, and this means you can use your xbox while you’re waiting for that slow download. This feature was highly requested by the community, but didn’t make it in the first ‘big’ dashboard update. It’s still unknown what you’ll be able to do while downloading. Best case scenario is that you’ll be able to play games on Live without too much lag.

Henson also mentioned HD-DVD, nothing really new on that front, but he confirmed that this piece of add-on hardware will only be used for movies in the foreseeable future. But hey, didn’t Microsoft tell us that a Core system was able to play every game?

While there’s no saying on when this possible dashboard update might come out, there is a chance it’s combined with the update needed for the Xbox360 Webcam. According to a previous article on Xboxic, the webcam should arrive in May, but don’t pin us on this.

I hope this is true as I'd love to stream movies and do some of the other Media Center Goodies, but I don't want to spend 110 bucks on an operating system with Vista coming out in less than a year, and the background downloading should have been in since the beginning,

Anyone know if there's anything new in Japan? 99 Nights demo? Over G stuff? Rumble Rose stuff? Whatever that RPG looking thing was that they had advertised? Zoids even?

Is this even kosher to do this? I've seen folks on other sites doing it and I'd love to play the 99 nights demo as it looks very interesting.

Yes, you can create Japanese silver accounts to get demo's. Very easy thing to do.

So there's Wrestle Kingdom and 99 Nights demos there now?

You get the gold trial too when you make it though I didn't use it. I use them (one for europe too just in case) to play arcade games now so they don't get stuck on my card with 0 achivements for a game I couldn't possibly get them for.
