According to this, they are supposed to distribute tickets a couple of hours or so before the launch.

*Wal-Mart has begun receiving launch instruction packages. Employees have been instructed to distribute numbered tickets (as many as the store has 360 units) starting at 10:00 PM on the 21st. The tickets are divided into two sets (green and silver), in order to differentiate between the core and premium bundles.

I don't think anyone's willing to do 25-to-life for a 360.

I don't think you understand how stupid some people are. We live in a country where kids shoot other kids over losing in a video game and for other idiotic, miniscule reasons. I'd say it's entirely possible that people will get robbed in parking lots, maybe even shot. And if fights start getting out of hand I guarantee some people will wind up getting shot. I'm not worried about it because I most likely won't be getting a 360 for at least a few months. I'm way too busy with school and there is no point in me splitting the cost with my brothers when the thing will be at home all year. Hopefully the price will have dropped a lot by then.

I understand why they are handing out tickets, it so that people don't have to wait in line to buy the system, but either way there will be a line right? I am sure there is gonna be people waiting in line to get tickets so either way there will be some type of waiting. What time do you guys think I should go to Walmart so I can get my tickets at 10. I never bought a system at launch. I hear plenty of stories about the ps2 in 2000. I have 2 Walmarts in my city that has a population of 150,000 people.

the one near me in the east side of cincinnati says that they are forming a line,around 10 pm est...but she says"and i quote" better get here before then cuz this damn phone has been ringing for a week about this".....it will form inside she thinks...and she said they have between 50-60 units...

It's pretty clear on the left side of each of those cards.

The green card says "number denotes order of $299.92 xbox 360 sales while supplies last".

The silver card says "number denotes order of $399.92 xbox 360 sales while supplies last".

Thank god I live in the little town of Kenton ohio. County pop is like 10,000 and we just got a walmart a few months back.; But if that fails we still have a K fart, will be there when I get off work. if I dont get 1 at lunch hr that night.
