Well if they don't want to deal with customer they should have a automated service on there phones giving people info.I ask the guy how are they gonna do this and he said when we open the store, then you can buy it. Does that mean if I am in the front of the line at target before it opens I might not be the first to get it b/c they will just open the door and let everyone in at once or will they let a few people in at a time. I just don't know.

And that costs money, and we all know how Wal-Mart loves to save pennies. I was just saying from a merchants point of view how I'd feel, and do feel. I've been on both sides of the fence. I can understand your excitement to get your hands on a 360, but I can understand the merchants side....when it's busy as crap. Since it's the holidays, and Wal-Mart is always packed anyway. My point is don't get frustrated if you don't get a answer you are looking for. Plus it's probably someone working for Min Wage, and they really don't care.

It seems that Walmart employess don't want to tell people how many they are getting b/c they are either hoping to get one themselves or don't want to be bothered.

The Walmart by me is getting 50... so they say.

The Sams Club by me is only getting 20. Now I talked to the manager and she said they are opening 7 AM for business members only. I asked if they are passing out tickets, she said no. I asked if I could buy more than 1 and she said you could buy all of them at once. If the first person in lines buy all of them, someones getting shot for sure. Unorganized by Sams if you ask me unless the manager was BS.

After calling alot of walmarts, I realized they don't seem to care. Everytime I called this certain Walmart, they wouldn't answer the phone in the electronic dept.

I used to work at walmart and walmart employees are forbidden to buy at launch it is a company wide ban so they will have to wait if they are an employee of Walmart

Since when? Plenty of Wal-Mart employees bought the PS2 when it came out. Your store might be that way, but I know the ones here have no such ban.

I'm not a law guru or anything but that would be pretty illegal as far as rights go. There's no way Walmart can ban an employee from purchasing ANYTHING, other than crack maybe.
I could be wrong though, wouldn't be the first time.

First off, I definitely would love to thank all of you for your thoughts and ideas cause I honestly added on 10 years to my life and my girlfriends. Just thinking about all the stuff that could happen was cracking me up. My girl told me about this one time when there was a big sale at Walmart at the "After Thanksgiving Sale" where this lady had been hospitalized with broken ribs among other broke bones because she was trampled. I know it's not funny but I couldn't help myself. I'm already planning on riding around the Chicagoland area to take notes on funny stuff I see. I think I might even consider making a movie out of this or something. Well, maybe not, but heck, it'll be a good laugh.

What part of Chicagoland are you from? South Suburbs perhaps? I honestly didn't even consider checking out to see how many systems were available. Just thinking about it though, what if someone did buy all of them at once or something like that? I would love to be in that store at that exact moment....looking from afar. Kats get crazy around these holiday times. 20 XBOX 360s. I can't help but laugh cause that person would probably get beat up before he got to the door. This stuff is CLASSIC!!
